Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was given a gift voucher for the sky dive and actually booked it. I then opted to choose the 15000ft jump and the full media package at a cost of £268.
The first jump was cancelled due to weather so i rebooked it for March 2024.
I then had second thoughts about doing it and my wife was very anxious and worried as i am 61.
On cancelling it, i was told the voucher was non-refundable which was ok. when i asked for the optional extras to be refunded, they refused to do this. they lied to me stating that British Skydiving would not allow it. British Skydiving confirmed that statement to be false.
GoSkydive have no reason to not refund the money for services that have not, and never will be used. Its a blatant rip off, unfair and immoral.

Awesome day out, everything was explained, the training was superb and the instructors took the time to make sure you knew everything that was going on. When coupled with your tandem instructor they take you through every and look after you from start to finish, highly recommend and a special thank you to Gavin who went out of his way to make it a memorable day👏👏👏

Great experience. Email and text communications was very clear
Everything was well explained on what was happening and the safety precautions.
Instructors and staff very helpful to make sure you have a great time.
Slight negative, quite a hard sell several times to buy the video packages, though I personal do think they are worth capturing the experience.

My friend and I loved our Go Skydive experience today! My tandem instructor Adam was fab, so calm and even though I was petrified, he made me feel 100% safe and totally looked after me. The guys even made sure we could see each other on the way down which was great fun. The whole team were brilliant. Super-impressed with the experience from start to finish. Really recommend Go Skydive!!

The experience at GoSkydive Swansea is incredible from start to finish. The team do an amazing job at making sure everyone has an unforgettable experience.
I have to give a special shout-out to my instructor Jason who made me feel very safe and made it a great experience.
Don’t mess around jumping at 10000 feet!! I highly recommend 15000! And the video and photograph bundle was brilliant. I’ve watched it back at least 10 times already. Can’t wait to do it again!!

Absolutely brilliant experience. Our group of 4 done a 15,000ft tandem skydive together for The British heart foundation and a charity set up for a friend who passed away with heart issues. Everyone loved it. We had the best instructors who knew exactly what they were doing and made everyone feel comfortable (Henk being mine). A bit of a wait before we jumped due to low clouds but you can expect that anywhere at this time of year. Highly recommend this company and will definitely be returning 👌

Jumping out of a perfectly good plane is daunting to the vast majority of people (me included) but the staff here make you feel at ease and make the experience easier than you thought.
I did a jump with my dad for his 75th birthday and I’ve honestly never seen him smile so much. Even though we were both filled with apprehension before the plane door opened, once you’ve made the the ‘leap’ out the plane door you’re whole world changes and you got stop smiling.

Can you use your own gopro for the parachute jump?
Sorry you can't use your camera. We operate under our governing body British Skydiving, which require personnel to have 200 jumps in order to operate camera gear in freefall.

I have osteoarthritis in my spine so would I still be able to do a jump for charity? I'm just a bit worried about when the parachute opens and you shoot upwards and also possibly about the landing?
Lorraine D

Hi SurrySun, this is a very common misconception in skydiving. When the parachute is deployed you do not shoot up, it appears like this because your camera man keeps falling, giving the allusion of you going up. You are still falling, just a lot slower.
In regards to your medical question, Please call the team in the office so they can go over all the details with you, their number is 01722 568705.
It may be something you are able to do but you will need to have a conversation with your GP and get them to sign off on the BPAs medical form, the ladies in the office will be able to send you this form directly.

If you're doing the jump for a charity, how much is the photographic package please?
Lorraine D

Hi SurrySun,
We have 3 diffent options for camera:
HandCam Video and Stills for £119, this give you a great up close and personal view of your skydive, you also get the under parachute time recorded.
FreeFall Camera Video and Stills for £149, this gives you are "star in your own movie" type vibe, you will be able to see much more of you in the surroundings, the camera will also get some further backs shots and some up close shots to, you may even be able to get a high five with your camera man.
Totally Epic for £199, this gives you all of the above, combining both packages so you are being recorded from every possible angle. Giving you the best views of your jump.
Please see all details on our website in the capture your day section.
Kind Regards,
Lorraine and the GoSkydive team.

Hi Laura Q, Scottp19700 is right, the taster tandem is our 7,000ft skydive. This gives you around 5-10 seconds of free fall. Lorraine and the GoSkydive Team.

Why do they recommend to skydive in colder months like March or April?
TandemSkydive
Salisbury, UK
Thanks for your question. Whilst temperatures in March and April are not a warm as peak summer there is an improved visibility on clear days which is well worth a few extra warm layers.

How much it cost to video your jump and pictures?
TandemSkydive
Salisbury, UK
Thanks for your query, prices vary depending on what sort of video and or stills photography you would like. Prices start from £99 for footage filmed by camera mounted to the wrist of your fully qualified instructor- this gives you a 'close-up and personal perspective'.
Alternatively one of our camera crew can skydive with you, this gives a much wider perspective incorporating your instructor and the plane. The cost for this is £129.
To see the different types of video footage visit the videos section of the GoSkydive website.
The team will be more than happy to discuss the options with you on the phone if you wish.

Hi, I'm really scared of heights but I really want to do a skydive for charity, is there any restrictions on how loud you scream? And are you good with nervous people? Thankyou Jo,
Saff

Hello, I did my jump in February. the first thing that you do when you get there is an induction which talks you through the whole process and shows you some videos. They tell you then that you can scream/swear/shout as loud as you want because the noise from the air rushing by masks it. It doesn't even get picked up in the video if you scream! So no need to worry about your instructors ear drums! Enjoy your jump!!
