Fantastic old style playhouse.

We went to see "Worst wedding ever". The set, cast, atmosphere were excellent. Overall a brilliant night out and will definitely look to go again next time I'm in the area.

Regular visitors to this gem of a theatre. Never disappointed. A good variety of performances with quality at every turn. Comfortable seating with a good view from anywhere/everywhere. Massive car park (still free after 6:00pm) is a real bonus. Staff always friendly and helpful. Plenty of good eating options in the close proximity including a very good in-house restaurant.

Great little provincial theatre. I must go about 10 times a year plus of course the annual Panto. Free parking in central car parking after 6pm both under cover and open. The Main Playhouse normally stages dramas, the odd musical. The 200 seater Salzburg theatre hosts more avant garde, intimate productions. Its a great facility for Salisbury.

Great little theatre, with added bonus of being next to massive car park. Comfortable graduated seating means excellent view and pretty good acoustics. Cheerful staff, with (perhaps could do with on or two more serving in bar when full house). Several ok restaurants close by.

Salisbury Playhouse is a welcoming venue, close to parking and shops. We recently took our two young grandsons to see Aladdin. Any company that can keep a four and five year old enthralled throughout deserve a special mention. As an introduction to theatre you would not find better. Thank you. Superb.

This theatre is one of the best I've ever been to, with a good selection of shows, we went to see, A Little of What You Fancy, which was out of this world just so entertaining, the players were all so talented, can't wait to go back again. Very good value for money.

Saw pantomime with my son and grandchildren. Excellent production. Suitable for all ages, children jumping up and down in their seats with excitement. Healthy slapstick comedy. Professional performance. Good singing acting audience participation. Wonderful special effects and sound and lighting. Loved every moment. Highly recommend.

Have been to many shows from drama to panto, with the latest being Aladdin when we took three granddaughters, twins aged 9 and their sister aged 6. We thought it was excellent and the girls loved it. We also took their mum and dad. Whether there are star names or simply the 'house' cast everything tends to be done well.... More

It's become a family tradtion to take our children, and now grandchildren, to the annual pantomime at Salisbury Playhouse. It's a lovely theatre, not too large, and the pantomime as usual was a wonderful display of colour, music and slapstick comedy. But ... as I see David C has recently commented, this year for the first time some of the... More
