Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely location . Spoilt by the menacing overgrown ferns, leaving us oldies struggling to pass them without tripping up, all
On the minor pathways. Could do with a lot more TLC like the other BFBC estates seem to have, probably why this estate is free to enter, been neglected badly.

Variety of trees and views. Clearly marked walks with different lengths. Easy walking though not really suitable for wheelchairs on all routes. Small car park with good notice board. Well maintained. When we visited the drought had reduced the pond dramatically . Only one bench

It certainly was not a disappointment, and actually the fact that it wasn't so crowded, it made the event even better. Lots of space for the group to enjoy, and find an area that suited us best plus lots of opportunity to roam around.

Unfortunately like so many public park areas now you have too keep your eyes down at all times to make sure you don't tread in the dog crap. Which makes it hard to look out for wildlife. Shame because it is a lovely walk, big pond, woodland and some heath-land.

Very nice place to relax and stroll around the pond and adjoining woodland. You will find that seating is sparse but if free what a lovely spot to relax and get mindful.

As a local I recently supported the park several times. Whilst no sign of questionable people there were several poop bags around the walks. Why bother pick up put in plastic and leave to rot for 20 years. Are people so stupid. Lovely walk. Stupid people. 👀

Not a long walk but always enjoyable and good to see the wildlife and wildfowl in and around the lake. Can get very muddy around the back end of the lake when wet but new boardwalk sections have improved this significantly. Good easy parking.

I have been using this nature reserve for 30 plus years, great for dog walking. Pond very
Large and pretty when it has water - which isn’t too frequent . Almost parched in
Places. Used more and more with dog walkers. As SwinleyForest has now started to charge parking fees on all of their sites. Englemere is still home to unsociable behaviour unfortunately .
