Had Sunday lunch with friends, we found the young staff to be very friendly but needed more supervision. We waited a long time for everything. Food was very average with small portions for the money. Shame, lovely location but will not be returning.

This is a lovely are and only a short drive from Maidenhead town centre. Lovely to watch the boats go by, see the canoeists tackling the weir water rapids, have a coffee or wine at the Boulters Lock pub, watch boats going through the lock.

Been going here since I was a kid, love it here, great place to be by the river. Cute little ginea pigs and birds to look at! There's a cafe there too!

Had the place to ourselves for a cloudy 30 minutes or so. We loved the aviary and seeing the Guinea pigs too. Nice and relaxing :)

Ray mill island is open every day. There is no one on site permanently and it is run by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. Info and phone numbers are on their website. Hope this helps!
