- travel_junkie05130 contributionsCome on an inset day!Great day out. We used tesco reward vouchers and came on a school inset day. It's definitely worth it to avoid ridiculously long queues. The longest wait was 45 minutes on Sky Lion. Don't trust the queue times on the app. Many said 10 minutes, and they were actually 30-45. Some queues seem unnecessarily slow though....sky lion can fit approx 80 people on at a time, yet the length of time you sit waiting strapped in is ridiculously long for no obvious reason before the ride even starts. Hydra queue made no sense either. Despite saying 10min wait, the queue didn't go down at all despite the ride operating...was this the priority people? Sometimes, the ride operated half empty. Communication would be good as there were many frustrated kids and parents. Then suddenly for no reason the queue was opened for us and it moved fast again. Because people can do single rider per boat it does mean the capacity is reduced. Really fun ride though and worth the wait. Food is as you would expect, expensive. Hot dog £8. Chicken goujons, fries and drink £12. Not great choice and you have to buy a meal, no option for just a burger etc. Shout out to Melissa who operated the spider ride at 1500hrs on Friday 6th October....you were hilarious commentating on the efforts of the riders and had the kids in stitches!! Fab interaction and great personality..perfect for working at a kids theme park!!Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a Trip Advisor review following your recent visit to the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort. We are sorry to hear that the LEGOLAND App could have provided more accurate queue times during your visit. These are regularly updated by our teams here at the Resort and we do apologise that you did not find this to be the case during your visit. We have passed your feedback onto the relevant teams for an internal review in line with our continuous improvements being implemented throughout the Resort. We are disappointed to hear your comments regarding the pricing of the food around the Resort. Please be assured our teams regularly review the menus around the Resort and we have taken this opportunity to pass your comments onto the team to be reviewed internally. We are delighted to hear Melissa had such a positive impact on your visit. All employees are trained to the highest standard and we take pride in the service we provide. We ensure your comments are passed on to the relevant department managers. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back again soon. - VicHeanor, United Kingdom228 contributionsAll good. Few tweeks2nd time here in 3 years. 8 year old really liked it but queues are an issue to an extent. Overall we did OK for getting on most rides. Missed out on 2 we really wanted and another 2 we have done a few years ago but fancied again. The park is really detailed and is good for kids. Little over priced in parts. Shop is brilliant. Car park needs sorting and 8.00 is pricey. £5 would be a fairer price. The queue times advertised are not true you need to look and judge yourself. Many people said this. Moving forward I would deffo have a fast track pass now for theme parks. We visited on a 241 which wasn't overly bad. Best rides: hydro challenge, dragon, merlin and submarine oneDear darthvickster Thank you for your four-star review. We are pleased to hear that your overall visit was a good one and that you enjoyed some of our newer rides as well as the more established ones. Sorry to hear that you were upset with the car park charge, this is in line with all MERLIN attractions, however, we will be pleased to formally log your comments and pass them to the relevant team. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon. - 953AlexCLondon, United Kingdom19 contributionsI wouldn’t go back or recommendWent with my 6 year old daughter so just the two of us. Overall, the park just isn’t value for money, I felt ripped off at the end of the day and for the experience I wouldn’t go back, there are better parks. The rides were ok, a little tame for us but some were enjoyable like the log flume. The Lego theme throughout the park just feels a bit budget, the only great Lego part is the mini land which we came across on the way out. The food was awful (had burgers in Pirates kitchen) even for theme park standards, and very expensive. Some of the rides were shut and the food and drink places were all closing up by 3pm so I had to walk around for a while to find somewhere open to get a coffee. Spent the extra money on reserve and ride which was £50 extra to avoid queuing all day as the park was busy, that part worked out ok but it’s still a rip off as you can only do one ride at a time and then wait the actual time for the next one. Shocked but not surprised that I had to pay £10 to leave the car park at the end of the day, smacks of greed and left a bitter taste in the mouth in what for me was a mediocre day.Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and to leave us a TripAdvisor review following your recent visit to LEGOLAND Windsor Resort. We are disappointed to hear your comments regarding the quality of the food in the restaurant. Please be assured our teams are dedicated to providing great quality food and giving good service. We have taken this opportunity to pass your comments onto the team to be reviewed internally. Thank you for your feedback regarding the ride closures around the Resort - we do understand how disappointing this can be. Please be assured that the decision to close a ride temporarily is one that is not taken lightly. Our teams are working incredibly hard to ensure that we provide our guests with the best offering each day, and we are sorry if this was not the case during your visit. We are sorry to hear your comments on the charge for car parking at LEGOLAND. Car park charges are standard across all Merlin attractions as it helps us place the money into improving our car parking facilities, security and the number of car parkers working throughout the day. We would like to reassure you that your comments have been passed on to the relevant teams for an internal review and for use in our continuous improvement. - Stephanie H2 contributionsFantastic day- poor foodIt was our first visit to Legoland and we loved it. It was exceptionally clean and we managed to get on everything we wanted with very little wait times. My only criticism was the food! - AmyInverness, United Kingdom124 contributionsGreat!Came here to write a review and was shocked at all the bad ones I saw. Personally this place wins for me in terms of kids theme park (CBeebies etc.) There are no big thrill rides but we weren’t in the market for that anyway. Saying that, Flight of the Sky Dragon was absolutely fabulous! Loads of toilets, very clean. Free suncream. Water taps everywhere. Loads of stations to refill the juice. It was pricey but it was probably worth it. Lego experiences everywhere were amazing. Staff in the brick were lovely. Great shows. We went on a Sunday Monday and Sunday was crazy busy but Monday is fab and we got on everything quickly. Had to knock a star off because the food is just terrible! Hardly any options, especially for vegetarians, pricey and then inedible. A real let down to an otherwise great place.Dear E6521GY Thank you for your four-star review. We are very grateful that you took the time to let us know that you had such a good visit and that you found the utilities and communal areas around the park to be spot-on. - charRochester, United Kingdom12 contributionsUnderwhelmingWe went for two days for my daughters fifth birthday. First off let me say she absolutely loved it and is already asking when she can go back. However from an adult perspective we were less than impressed. Rides take ages to get onto- the people operating the rides don’t seem to be able to effectively load people quickly and efficiently onto the rides. Food and drink is very very expensive and underwhelming- £13 for one burger (to then find that 3 out of the five things that should be in the burger the burger stall didn’t actually have so £13 for effectively a plain cheeseburger which wasn’t particularly good quality). A hot chocolate stall where the hot chocolate wasn’t hot……. The stall holder even admitted when we tried to order one it wouldn’t be hot. Costa stands that don’t have half of the things on the menu! The whole park looks quite neglected, lots of rubbish around the park and not particularly well cared for. Found this to be a very expensive experience for something quite underwhelming. We would not go back.Dear char8781 Thank you for your three-star review. We are delighted to hear that your daughter's fifth birthday was a day that she absolutely loved spending with us here at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort. We are sorry that you, as an adult, felt there were a few issues with ride efficiency and please accept our apologies for any upset caused. We realise how fundamental a positive ride experience is to your day at LEGOLAND Windsor, and how important it is to operate rides quickly and efficiently. We are sorry if you felt that the rides could have been operated with greater speed and efficiency when you visited. - Drew W58 contributionsLazy lazy lazySo we come to Legoland to enjoy the majesty of Lego. Whether that being the use of Lego, the history and the models that can be made. During this Brick or Treat special it appears very very lazy that no models were made of monsters instead just cut outs of Lego monsters. The studio for models was closed the rides had limited connection to Lego compared to days of yure. It’s like having Disneyland and thinking “hey where’s mickey and his legion” the most lego themed part of the park was the gift shop which in itself had limited items about Lego Land (except magents). There should be more models of Lego, even themed Lego like Franchises that Lego have close connections with. The mini land was exceptional but more models needed and the use of cardboard cutouts was frankly insultingly lazy.Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and to leave us a TripAdvisor review following your recent visit to LEGOLAND Windsor Resort. - Zoe P49 contributionsAn average family day out.An average family day out. My son chose to go to Legoland for his 6th birthday. We drove 5 hours to get there and it was a mixed weather day which of course was accepted and didn’t deter from the day. The signage on site was very good and the app was spot on. A great addition which we used extensively. The opening hours were just right (imo). We queued for up to an hour on the rides which with a 5/6 year old was tough. The rides are very short making this length of queuing almost difficult to stomach. It took us till the end of the day to know where the Lego model world was. You almost forget about it if you don’t enter from the duplo area. We would have loved to have spent more time exploring the Lego models but due to queue lengths we didn’t have time. They did look good though. Food choices were very poor and the refillable slushi’s are a joke with poor cups and terrible paper straws. We saw people with refillable cups which looked but we don’t drink fizzy drinks so was not an option for us. One ride had technical difficulties whilst we were there which meant the queue was double that expected. Probably over 90 mins. When we came out it was very dark with little to no direction on how to get out of the park. We literally left at 7pm having rushed from the last ride to the exit. We paid for parking but this wasn’t checked so wonder how this is policed. The best part of this park was the amount of bins. Bravo to the organisers of that. As a result of this we saw little to no rubbish. An excellent factor. Well considered.Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and to leave us a TripAdvisor review following your recent visit to LEGOLAND Windsor Resort. - TaylorNewton Abbot, United Kingdom16 contributionsDisappointingA good day out, however the wait for rides is long. We only managed 4 rides between 10am and 4pm. Really wanted to enjoy the Halloween themed events but couldn’t get anywhere near it. It’s disappointing that you are almost forced to spend more to buy the fast passes, to avoid the queues. We didn’t. There needs to be more signs while you are waiting endlessly in queues to tell you how much longer it’s going to be, especially when your waiting for the ninja ride.. not sure I would rush back to visit again.Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and to leave us a TripAdvisor review following your recent visit to LEGOLAND Windsor Resort. - Andrew CSouthampton, United Kingdom18 contributionsA good day spoiled by the priority queuing system.A good day out spoiled by the priority queuing system. We chose not to pay an additional £200 for the priority passes and consequently felt like second class guests all day. I’ve no problem with priority systems and Disneyland Paris does their’s very well but Legoland has constructed a system that is a self-fulfilling prophecy. Rather than shortening the wait time for those who pay extra, it lengthens it for those who do not. We queued for over an hour for the Haunted House ride with perhaps only three or four rides worth of people in front of us. The number of priority guests permitted to ride ahead of us turned what should have been a 20 minute wait into 60 because so many people were given preference. It’s not as though we were all standing there for free! I paid nearly £100 for me and my 6 year old daughter to visit and because of the priority pass system, we ended up riding only three rides all day. A 75 minute queue for a 3 minute ride is frankly absurd. Legoland’s model is clearly to make the priority pass the most attractive option but people are simply paying for the standard queuing time that they used to experience before this system was introduced. My little girl had most fun in the playground. Not because it’s amazing but because she didn’t have to queue anymore.Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and to leave us a TripAdvisor review following your recent visit to LEGOLAND Windsor Resort. My wife and I got tickets to LEGOLAND Windsor with a stay in the LEGOLAND hotel for our kids for their main Christmas present. We have been to various theme parks (my kids are 8 and 6), and none of them excited them more than our visit here. They loved every second of their stay, and the room, although basic was what was expected. They had their own room, a TV, lots to play with and a treasure hunt to unlock a safe where they had their own Lego to play with. There were a couple of rides that were not open (seasonal) but this didn't detract from the fun we all had.
The one thing I would say is that there should be more advertised about the cost of the buffet meal as we only knew how much it would be when we got there and asked for a table. After reading a couple of reviews, i was expecting the food to be rubbish. Of course it wasn't the best food we ever had, but for a buffet where they had lots of hungry mouths to feed we all thought it was pretty good. We were all stuffed by the end of the meal, and actually the cost in the grand scheme of things wasn't too bad. It was just under £70 for the 4 of us to have an all you can eat and unlimited soft drinks. That's £17.5 each. So yes maybe a little expensive for little ones, but it all evens out.
Going over the Christmas period also meant the park was quiet so no more than 10 minutes queuing time for any of the rides, and lots to do that was Christmas themed.
Really enjoyed it and if under 10 years old it is a perfect place to go.

Legoland Windsor is a bit of a letdown really.
You arrive by 4pm to access your room. We travelled from Exeter so got in a little before that time. We have been to CBeebies land and they put on entertainment pretty much from morning to late night plus the rooms are wonderful. The park is perfect for kids.
Now Legoland...there is no entertainment at all. Not morning, not afternoon or evening. Just a meet n greet Kai the Ninjago character for 15 mins every half hour all day where he actually does nothing but wave.
The restaurant offers a fixed meal for three (2 adults one child) at nearly £70!!!
This is a basket of bread, choice of a couple of different main courses and a desert. Very basic and very expensive.
So to sum up. Boring pirate room, no entertainment at all in the hotel Ever!!, only entertainment was the park which had four rides closed!!
Extremely expensive restaurant. Even the staff shrugged their shoulders and said ”well it's Legoland isn't it"
I would not recommend Legoland, instead go to CBeebies, it's more fun for your children and you and your children will be entertained non stop. The rooms are brilliant and themed and the food is good and reasonably priced.

Stayed here in the Castle hotel for one night during brick week. Having read the reviews I had low expectations!
The Castle hotel was great. Easy check in and the room was perfect for the children. The in room treasure hunt was a bonus and my son loved the PS4.
We decided to eat out that evening in a local pub and had a fabulous meal which would have cost us the same as staying in the hotel for the tournament tavern buffet.
We didn’t use the pool as there were no time slots available for us but we did have a look - it is small but the children will find it fun.
Breakfast was as described in all the reviews. The safest option was toast!
The main park opened at 10am and we had managed to get on all the main rides ( that were open) by 11.30am. These included the balloon ride, Ninjago, both rollercoasters (twice!), spider, pharaoh ride.
For lunch we used the pizza /pasta buffet restaurant which was as expected- yes overpriced for the type of food but we are glad we didn’t have that same pizza/pasta buffet the night before! We did spot a van selling Cornish pasties and sausage rolls which may have been a better option but it was so cold we opted for indoors.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and the children had a great time. Would recommend the Castle hotel.

Just home from a one night stay at Legoland Windsor.
I was shocked and affronted to learn that Merlin/Lego Land are refusing to pass on the Chancellor's 15% VAT reduction to the paying public. This seems like little more than naked greed and an opportunity to profiteer from an initiative intended to benefit the average family.
Our stay was pre-booked, but fell after the 15th July threshold for the reduced VAT rate. My understanding is that we are eligible for a 15% VAT cut. To this effect, in the week preceding our Lego Land visit, we had stayed at a hotel in Norfolk and the manager automatically reduced the VAT rate for the eligible portion of our stay.
To compound matters: none of the front-desk staff were aware of Merlin's policy on VAT; in order to explain it, they could only offer us a printed side of A4 that was promptly taken away; and the hotel manager seemed to be hiding in his/her office, showing little willing to engage with paying punters.
Adding insult to injury, many of the prime rides are closed. This isn't just on grounds of COVID safety, but also for reasons of mechanical failure (The Dragon) and refurbishment (Sorcerer's Apprentice, S.Q.U.I.D Surfer etc). Given that the park has been closed for four months, one would have thought that any problems would have been rectified.
Notwithstanding the issues covered in other reviews (overcrowding, ride waits, COVID safety concerns), Merlin/ Lego Land are charging a very full price for a service that's considerably less than full.
This has left a very sour taste in our mouth and we won't be spending another penny at any Merlin attraction.

Our family of 4 (parents and 2 kids aged 5 and 3) just got back from a great 2 day trip to Legoland. It was our first time so we can’t compare to pre-covid times.
On our first day we arrived at 10.30 and on our second day 09.15 and didn’t have to queue to get in on either days. There are 3 stages to get in: bag checks, temperate checks and then a ticket check. We didn’t queue for any of these.
Day 1:
Inside the park it was busy when we arrived at 10.30.
We used the first day to scope out the park and go on the rides with the shorter queue times as we had booked ride and reserve for the 2nd day. For the age of our kids, a lot of the rides for them had shorter queue times (some only 5/10 minutes and others under 30 minutes). We didn’t have a strict itinerary of what we wanted to go on so just checked the app for queue times and went with the flow.
We had booked a Splash Safari slot beforehand though and this was a godsend in the afternoon heat. We didn’t manage to see a lego friends show on day 1 as the ones we tried to see were cancelled.
We walked along to the legoland hotel in the afternoon too and sat outside with a beer while the kids played on the play-park.
Day 2:
Ride and reserve - we paid £100 for this for a family of 4 and it really made a difference as it meant we didn’t have to physically wait in the longer queues (especially in the heatwave). I was however really annoyed that the coastguard HQ ride (which constantly had a 1 hour plus wait time) was “unavailable” for ride and reserve all day. Also with the haunted house and ninjago you had to pay extra (on top of the ride and reserve) if you wanted to reserve it. I expect to be rinsed in a theme park but i think this (along with charging people to park) is just disgraceful!
The play parks are good and a welcome break from walking around and queuing.
Yes some of the hand sanitisers were empty but
most people carry their own anyway. I did see one sun tan lotion dispenser too which i think is great (there were probably more but I didn’t see any others).
The park have put measures in place for social distancing but people don’t tend to follow them and/or the nature of walking around a theme park doesn’t lend itself naturally to walking in designated lanes.
All in all a good trip. Despite the draw backs to ride and reserve I do think it was worth it. We hit lucky with a queue time for ninjago and my kids didnt want to go in the haunted house so the only ride we didnt go on and wanted to was the coastguard hq. We saw 2 shows and did Splash Safari along with a lot of rides. We took a pram and i dont think our 3 year old could have done without it!

Great day out. You just need to plan your day here carefully, take your own food and use the app. If you get there before 9.30am there are no queues to park or get in. If you turn left instead of right when you go into the park and head to Lego city and beyond you can get on a lot of rides in the first two hours when the rides open at 10am. You can enter the park from 9.30am. Use the app to find the rides with shorter queue times. Buy one refillable cup and you can use it for drinks for everyone all day and recharge the next (£4.90 to recharge with annual pass). If you buy an annual pass in the Jan sale they are usually £60 each and you also get 10% off everything in the park as well and parking is only £4 with it. Don’t pay for parking in advance as you can pay at the gate when you leave and sometimes they won’t charge you if they are trying to get everyone out of the park quickly. Go to Poundland and stock up on your ponchos etc in advance, they are £5 each at Legoland. We bought our food each day from Marks and Spencer food hall in Slough, apart from one refillable cup we didn’t buy any food or drink or snacks the whole two days we were there. Also, you can eat your lunch/snacks whilst queuing which distracts the kids.
It doesn’t have to cost the earth if you can get a pass or cheap tickets off eBay or sun savers etc. We did hire the trolley both days but you can take your own
Pushchair etc We got the express ride and reserve the first day and nothing on the second. You don’t really need the express one, would prob have been better to have the normal one on both days or just on one day. On the second day, we got on about ten rides without the pass and watched the shows, did the 4D cinema etc
The kids think it is amazing and we will go back again in a few months hopefully. If you stay at a nearby premier inn and book in advance you can get a room for £35 a night. It really doesn’t have to cost the earth to go there but it is really easy to spend a fortune on a Legoland trip if you aren’t careful.

We paid almost £400 for a two day stay with a hotel deal at the Berystede Hotel, with a 3 course meal and breakfast.
What we got was very different and I feel totally conned.
Legoland: ridiculous cues - despite bringing our own lunch which we ate whilst walking between attractions, or whilst queuing we only managed to go on 5 rides all day, then the park was closed early as there was a thunderstorm. Yes 5 rides!! The whole time was just spent queuing... absolute joke!
Covid safety: None. This in my opinion is not a safe place to be... Minimal distancing by joe public and totally unenforced by legoland. Only approx 20% of people (and that's being generous) wearing face masks whilst queuing.
Hotel linked to tickets: The website advertises a three course meal as part of the deal. This is not what you get. What they actually give you is £25 per adult and £10 per child towards a meal cost. This will only cover a main course.
All in all a really bad decision for us to come here and I feel like I've been robbed.
I will be putting in a formal complaint to Legoland as this is highly unsatisfactory and I couldn't recommend this to anyone.

We are sorry to hear that certain aspects of your stay did not live up to your expectations such as the queue lines for some rides at the Park, the confusion of the restaurant costs and the covid measures at the Park.
Our guest and staff’s safety is always our top priority and we are doing everything we can to make sure you have a safe and brilliant time. We have introduced measures across the whole Resort and it’s really important everyone observes these during their visit. Our measures include social distancing floor markers in queue lines, leaving rows and seats empty on rides, and regularly pausing the rides to thoroughly clean them. Because we have less room in our queues, less guests on rides, and we need to stop the rides to clean them, the Resort will look like a regular summer’s day and queue times are similar to previous school holidays.
Almost all of our rides and shows are now open which has meant we’ve been able to gradually increase our capacity. Each day we are letting in no more than two-thirds of the number of guests we would normally at this time of year.
Please be assured that we have referred your feedback onto the relevant departments to review.
Kind Regards,
The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort Team.

For the first time in many years, Legoland was open over the Christmas period, with the exception - understandably - of its water rides.
This theme park is a perennial favourite of my kids and because we booked very early the tickets weren't crazy money. We also got very lucky with the weather as it was a beautiful crisp winter's day when we visited.
Ride queues were much smaller than usual, with most less than 10 minutes. It was disappointing to see so many rides closed, but that just left us more time to enjoy the new exhibits in Miniland.
On balance this was a winner, and I hope Legoland stays open again next Festive season.

We’d planned a day out for our grandson’s ninth birthday and almost cancelled after reading the negative reviews about social distancing in the queues. Glad we didn’t.
Arrived around 9.45am on Saturday, having paid online in advance for parking (go standard, the premium isn’t worth it unless you have mobility issues) and queued briefly to get in due to temperature checks and bag search.
Plenty of social distancing reminders, test and trace QR codes, staff wearing face coverings, hand sanitiser stations, and most people seemed to make the effort, although two metres tended to be more one-plus in some of the ride queues.
So what about those queues? Well, they started at around five minutes when we arrived and the longest wait time listed on the app was 90 minutes for the underwater Deep Sea adventure at the height of the day.
We were using the reserve and ride facility (extra cost or free for groups including a special needs and carer combo) which lets you book into the priority lane.
To ensure fairness, you can’t go crazy with it. Each time you book a place, the app adds a waiting time before you can book another ride but you can easily fill the gaps by grabbing a bite to eat, visiting the less popular attractions or exploring.
Between 10am and 5pm we managed 10 rides, including some of the most popular ones, had a meal, explored Miniland, took an ice cream break and fitted in the inevitable shopping.
A word about shopping. It’s expensive (no surprise if you’re already a Lego fan) and the aptly named BIG store was the only place that felt overly crowded and where people took scant notice of the one way lanes.
The queue here is marshalled but the numbers inside could be reduced.
All in all a good day out, great rides, excellent theming and the burger restaurant was pricey but tastier than expected.
They seem to have done a lot to Covid-proof the resort. Now it’s up to the guests to do their bit, too.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a TripAdvisor review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your visit to LEGOLAND, especially our new covid measures at the Resort.
The health and safety of our guests and team members is our top priority and we have implemented measures across the Park in line with Government guidelines to uphold this. These include significantly reducing the Park’s capacity by capping the number of tickets available to to no more than two thirds of the number of guests we would usually welcome at this time of year.
We hope to welcome you back very soon!

Sorry to say that the queues are now out of control at Legoland and unless you pay for an additional fast access pass (the fact they are even a thing means Legoland must know queues are an issue) you have no chance of getting on to all of the rides in one day.
We experienced queues of 75min, 90min and even 120mins (submarine ride) which is just far too much when you consider the rides are aimed at very young children. It is unfair to expect kids to wait in line for two hours with nothing to do or anything to amuse them.
I appreciate that Covid-19 has caused a great deal of confusion and complication for the whole world but Legoland really need to review their decision to be open in the current climate. You have hundreds of people queuing for rides with absolutely zero social distancing.
The few rides that we did manage to get on in our six hours in the park were great, it has to be said. Our kids loved them. But the park was way too busy and I won't be going back unless I suddenly feel very flush and can afford to splash out £90 per person on top of the ticket price to gain instant access to the rides.
It is hard to feel anything other than ripped off coming away from Legoland.

Hi, we are visiting for the first time with a 17 and 14 year old. Is there certain sections of the park for this age group?

Did you go? I'd say it's not overly exciting for teens unless you're big Lego fans. Not many rides for older kids especially if they're thrill seekers

Are the wasps still a problem at Legoland? I have a huge wasp phobia. I am aware they have traps set up and taken measures to reduce them but wondered if it had worked ?

We went last Saturday and if im going to be honest I don't recall having any problems with wasps or bees. I don't even remember really seeing many, if any at all! The day we went it was 24C and even round the water park bit I didn't see any at all.

We have booked tickets to the park for two days and an overnight stay- can anyone tell me if the early 9:30am entry for those staying at the Legoland hotel applies to both day of arrival and day of departure when you’ve booked two days of tickets? Thanks!

When staying on-site, can you still attend the evening entertainment even if you don’t use the restaurant? (Planning on ordering delivery as food reviews are so poor!)
Written 31 May 2024
When you check in at your chosen accommodation, you will be given an entertainment schedule. If you are self-checking in, a copy of the Daily Build is available next to the check-in machines.
Entertainment begins each day at 5 pm in the Atrium of the Resort Hotel for hotel guests or at 5:30 pm in The Clubhouse for Woodland Village guests. We stayed years ago (roughly 5-6 years ago) and have only been visiting the park since for occasional days and during our stay we were able to see the evening entertainment without needing to use the restaurant prior. I definitely wouldn’t order the food there as it is overpriced and doesn’t taste the best 😅 seeing as our stay was quite a few years ago I would recommend checking with the reception team on the Our Short Breaks Help Centre or through the guest forum (they tend to reply fairly quickly).

last year for merlin pass holders it was £15 and without a merlin pass was £20 they do hold tickets back on the day, but it is first come first service. They had there own huts around the park. The one I used was in Knights Kingdom. I don't know how much prices will be this year but I can only guess they will go up By the emails merlin are sending regarding price increases on park tickets and they now have gotten rid of under 3s it is now under 2s
