    Excellent night spent.
Overall excellent staff and experience. Especially Sonia in Bricks restaurant, helpful and professional, she provided an excellent service. Costa coffee opposite the shopping mall. Awful service and waited 30 minutes for coffee once paid. I think it was playtime for the staff and their leaking coffee machine
Dear Guest We are delighted that, for the most part, at least, you had a wonderful visit to our park to celebrate Christmas. Legoland bad experience
My advice dont go near this place.I am about to visit the resort with my grandson as a Christmas gift. I am so stressed and distraught before I even go.It turns out that you have to book table reservations for meals.Their website is so unfriendly, there is no telephone numbers or person to contact. My booking includes breakfast and I have no reservation for Sunday morning.I managed to get a number however they are not at Lego land.I was given a direct number to the hotel to contact. There is no answer and I have found out they are closed this week. Therefore I am about to go to this resort without breakfast on Sunday for which I have paid and dont know how I am going to feed my grandson.Other people be aware of this when you think of going, it appears they are therefore taking money for something they are not going to provide. This is an utter disgrace.
Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and to leave us a TripAdvisor review. We are sorry to hear you are having some issues with your Hotel reservations. All guests are sent a 30 day pre-arrival email with the information on how to reserve your breakfast and dinner meals and we do apologise if you missed this email. We would recommend emailing the reservations team to see if they can assist you further. Their email is reservations@legoland.co.uk. Thank you, The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort team

Enjoyable weekend but wouldn’t go back
So we visited for a Santa’s secret sleepover weekend and we stopped in a knight’s premium room for 2 nights with 2 young children 1 and 6. The room itself was amazing, kids was blown away with it, made us feel very happy we paid the extra. Now the room comes with all sorts of little extras for the kids which made them very happy, in particular the treasure hunt with a “premium” gift to find, which consisted of a Lego bag, lanyard, badge and a pack of 3 duplo pieces which we found very deflating, we wasn’t expecting a £100 Lego set but this was very megre especially with us bringing 2 children, still our eldest had loads of fun finding it. The breakfast was okay, Luke warm full cooked breakfast but filled a hole ready for the day. The park and rides was amazing, felt very festive, a few rides was closed due to weather but can’t be helped and more than enough rides for the kiddos. Queues was quite quick, app times wasn’t accurate but wasn’t too far out. Food at the park was SO EXPENSIVE!! Very sad Hot dog for £7.30, wasn’t even tasty! Put into context we got a foot long hot dog with refill drink for Costco the day after for £1.50 which was very good! Food at night was again very disappointing, £120 for a very sad, Luke warm Christmas dinner for adults, one fish and chips with a sticky fish??! And a cheese and tomato pasta that looked like it was microwaved was very insulting. Waiting staff was amazing though. One think that really did annoy us was we paid over £1000 for this very magical Christmas weekend to find out we didn’t get to go into the Christmas grotto area as it was an extra! Wasn’t very clear when we booked also but to not get that in the price was insulting at best. To sum up had a great weekend with the kids, very very expensive and wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend.

Doesn’t enhance the Christmas feels, but a decent day out.
This was our second visit to the Resort including staying at the hotel; our first being 6 years ago. The hotel hadn’t really changed much in that time, the restaurant had gone from buffet to menu, and some extra arcade games added. They have also added the Castle hotel in that time. We stayed in the Adventure room, which is great fun for adults and children alike. The treasure hunt is a nice touch and the room was tidy and welcoming. Having different sections for adults and children is a bonus also! Downside to the room; toilet was leaking and the flush was very hard to press; my son couldn’t operate it. The restaurant. As a group of 7 we ordered the Christmas roasts which arrived cold and in a couple of instances only had two minute roast potatoes, this was rectified by the manager who brought us new dinners. Breakfast was decent, although we did have a member of our party who had dietary requirements which were constantly wrong. It was a very basic English breakfast but was warm. Dining experience seemed to lack and care or warmth. The park was good, great going at this time of the year as the queues were much shorter. In addition they had added on attractions from last time we visited. Having a 6, and two 9 year olds meant the rides were great for them. I’d suggest anything older than 9/10, Legoland probably isn’t for you. Two of the rides had malfunctioned whilst stood in queues, however due to the size of the queue it was bearable. The festive bonus; having been here before at Christmas we were hugely disappointed with the developments for the festive season. The Christmas music around the park helps, and as it begins to get dark the festive meter goes up with the use of pine trees and lights illuminating the way. THE BRICK where you can build your own Lego decorations was pitiful and really couldhave been made into more: lacked any real festive feel. (Previously had a marquee with elves in walking around and lots of Christmas trees; very warm and cosy) The shows we caught up with were ok but didn’t catch the imagination of our children. Christmas kingdom experience was ok. We had an awkward elf who was trying to stall our journey to Santa. Santa himself was excellent and tried very hard to immerse my son in the experience. Festive score was 2/5 until the lights came on, then 3/5 Evening entertainment. Finished about 8:45 then nothing: this could be utilised more. Even the bar near the brick pits was closed. Poor. Santa reading time at 6:00- Santa was ace, the elf not so. The tree wasn’t even decorated. Would we go back? No. We are now done for Christmas at Legoland.

    Better places to stay
Such a disappointment. The staff were friendly but you get what you pay for certainly does not apply to this resort. At over 600 per night I would certainly expect a lot more from the resort. The tv in the room wasn’t working, room service wasn’t available and the restaurant is an absolute disgusting mess. To top it off we found pills in our room when we arrived. There was so much closed in the park and our only lunch option was pizza and pasta, which was fine, except no soft drinks were working. We’ll return to the park but never again to the resort or resort restaurant

    Total & Utter Shambles
We took my 7 year old & 1 year old between Christmas & new year and stayed 1 night in the Castle Hotel. From start to finish the whole trip was awful, clueless rude, disinterested staff seem to be the norm, poor directions and no help when needed generally across the hotel & resort. The Hotel itself was grubby, dirty and not worth 10% of the money I have stayed in much better budget hotels. Food is a joke throughout the resort and way way over priced, don't even bother with the pool its tiny and disgusting. Park itself was poor with more closed than open, rides were late opening and ques closed way to early so couldn't 'enjoy' a full day ended up leaving site for dinner on day 1 and left early on day 2 to go home. Purchased the digital photo package for both days but wasn't told half rides were shut and those that weren't photo option wasn't working so that was a total waste. Its a huge rip off with goal to churn as much money out as possible, staff on site didn't care about anything, have complained to customer services and was given stock answers that are all over this site in response to issues and offered a measly sum back and day entry too the park, why would I go back to this shambles. I truly believe this place is only open because it bares the Lego logo, as without it it wouldn't last 5 minutes! Avoid avoid avoid!

    Expensive and long queues
The queues are really annoying. Way too many priority queue jump tickets handed out meant most rides had queues of about an hour, more in some cases. If it wasn’t for the queue jumpers it would be about 35 minutes. Starts to get really annoying when you’ve been in a queue for an hour and you see the same people jumping the queue several times. We spent a night in the hotel and had two full days here but didn’t get to do everything. Everything is overpriced, eg slush puppies £4.10. A beer in the hotel is >£6 and a plain ham sandwich is over £4. The positives: Hotel was nice, and kids entertainment was good. Swimming pool really enjoyable. We just resented the time queuing and prices. Kids enjoyed it though and I guess that’s the reason we were here.

First visit to legoland this year and we had a good day. We went knowing what was open ect but the que times seemed off today. Joined the advertised 15min que for laser raiders ride and after an hour we finally found ourselves at the front of the que only to be greated by a massive fast track que and at least 20 people where let in before us, know I am fully aware of the fact these people may have paid for the privilege but there should be a fairer system of admitting fast track and standard guest. There was noticeable resentment from the standard que, this was the same on other rides too which is the first time we have noticed anger at the fast track. Selling too many fast track tickets???

    Awful. Just awful.
Almost everything was awful. Queues of 1h 30m to ride a lame kids ride you would walk straight past at a funfair. Terrible overpriced food - again with huge queues. There’s nowhere to sit down anywhere at lunch time. No seating or even grass, just concrete everywhere. By 2pm my children were begging to go home. We obliged.

    Don't bother.
We are merlin pass holders and have spent the last 13/14 months visiting the various attractions and Legoland is always the biggest disappointment by far. This was our first visit in a while, we didn't bother at all last summer because the same problems seem to always persist here and you just don't get the same issues at any of the other theme parks. I have never been to a theme park where the ordinary queue actually started to boo and hustle the fast track queue out of sheer frustration before Legoland. It was uncomfortable for the children but entirely understandable. Similar to other reviews the fast track system simply ruins the whole experience. It's become intolerable to queues for in some cases, very mediocre, rides for so long. Yesterday for example we joined the queue for flight of the sky lion at 50 mins. I started a timer on my phone. It was painful, I mean absolutely painful, watching the slow pace of the staff loading the ride, half filling rows and faffing, assumingly, with the fast pass app/rap app queue. All in all we waited 80 mins and at times I took over 8 minutes for the guy to simply put people into the rows. Madness. This is a HUGE attraction for you, sort it out. Then when we got on and went upstairs there was one girl briefing each pod and checking all the belts. Madness. So slow and ridiculous, the ride lasts minutes, you need to be more efficient. The only ride that had it's act together, for once, was Ninjago, the guy was filtering people through quickly and efficiently, there were.ample staff and it was no wonder the queue time sat at around half an hour all day and actually took just less from joining to riding. The staff in the brick and rebuild the world were wonderful though, very attentive, clearly enjoyed their jobs and interacting with the children and we ended up spending much of our day between the two. It's such a shame. Alton towers and Chessington are both always such a pleasure to visit and seem so well managed in comparison that we don't hesitate to return. I can honestly say we won't bother with Legoland again now, it's just too stressful.

Me and my family come here a couple times a year though we are growing a bit older, the queues larger and it getting more popular we still love it there and have been there for various milestones. I recently came for Halloween and had a nice Halloween street where we got a couple of sweets and legoland Halloween badges. Our personal favourites to go on are ; the dragon, the jolly rocker ,Mia’s riding adventure, scarab bouncers and the haunted house monster party is always a win it was a shock as we went in we didn’t know it would be so good . As we recently went we tried going on the flight of the sky lion and absolutely love it the only downside to legoland is the massive queues . As we are used to them we bought the fast pass, even though you can get one at a time it still goes by quicker . As many people do this the lines are still quite big on the fast pass too .

It was a huge site, although it had a lot of walking to get around. Can't go on all of the rides in one day. The rides were amazing and so was the 4D movie! The gift shop is very expensive so main things under £5 was the keychain (£2).

We have had an amazing day at Lego land Windsor! The rides are brilliant, staff are super friendly! We booked a blue light card day, we did have to Que for some quite lengthy times which did mean we didn’t have time to go on all the rides, there was an option to pre book rides but which we should of done. The Lego models around the park are incredible! It’s an immaculate park, my daughter was amazed that all the bathrooms smelt nice 😂
We are also staying at the Lego land hotel. My son had an accident in the restaurant and split his ear open, the care he received was brilliant! He is being assessed for ADHD and I can not praise them enough for their patience and understanding to his refusal of anyone touching his ear. Dan the first aid man was very reassuring to my son, he took around 45 minutes of doing basically nothing because my son wouldn’t allow him to but he persisted in trying to make my son comfortable, trying to calm him down and found another way to getting his ear tended to. He then gave my son a gift once he allowed it to be cleaned and plaster put on.
Laiba a waitress from the restaurant was also amazing, very fun and amazing interaction with my children especially my daughter. She couldn’t have been more attentive. Absolute gem!
Debbie another member of the team again was amazing! Great interactions with my children, making sure we had everything we needed, and giving my children pop badges after the incident mentioned above.
All the staff were great but these 3 really made a difference for our stay!
The rooms are incredible!! We are on level 4 which is adventure rooms I believe, there are 2 rooms within the room so kids can sleep in their own room with bunk beds. Tv in both rooms, kettle & tea ect, fridge, ironing board and a travel cot! Cannot fault the rooms, my children are amazed and very happy. Little gifts in the rooms for the kids too, I know it’s a park for kids but they really do go above and beyond!!
We will certainly be returning, the only down fall of the whole trip was the Ques, but it just means we have to stay an extra day next time! Win win!!

Dear A3996FNnatashaw Thank you for your lovely review, we are so pleased to hear that you had an amazing day with us during our Blue Light Day Event. The creative team will be so happy that you found the models around the park to be incredible and that your daughter felt our bathrooms smelt nice! It was so disappointing to hear that your son hurt himself but super happy that our First Aid team was able to re-assure him and Dan's calming influence and pleased that his perseverance paid off and he was able to tend to your son's ear. We do hope he has had a speedy recovery. We will also pass on your thanks to Laiba in our restaurant and will let her know of the positive impact she had on your visit, as well as Debbie who was able to interact with your children. Staying in the Hotel is always special and it is great to hear that you had a magical time in your Adventure Rooms. We really look forward to welcoming you back to the Resort very soon to continue making magical memories with us! Kind Regards The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort Team

Went on a blue light members day.
Much nicer than the last time we visited (on a bank holiday)
Queues were not too bad apart from the Mythica ride.

Spent a disappointing hour and a half queuing then was told the ride had a fault. However, they managed to resolve it and we ended up still going on it.

Think the wait was worse as no where to sit. Also annoying that the instruction video could have been during the queue rather than wasting time watching just before the ride.

Having said that, the family enjoyed all other rides and didn’t wait more than 30 mins for anything else.

Also, want to point out that the staff were all incredibly friendly around the park. Especially at the Ferrari stop at closing time. They all made my daughter feel very special.

Shame Star Wars is no longer at Legoland but we all enjoyed ourselves and world highly recommend.

Me and my two kids visited Legoland today and we had the best time. My kids enjoyed it very much and as a parent I couldn’t help but smile seeing my kids have fun. We will definitely visit again soon. We also ate at the bricks hotel, the food was amazing and our waitress Claudia went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and gave us a great service. She is the best.

I had a very pleasant experience both in the Legoland park as well as at the hotel. I spent 2 nights with my young child dining at the Brick Hotel and both the food and service was wonderful. A lovely worker named Claudia took my order and helped find something my fussy child would eat. All around a lovely place which I would 100% recommend.

I originally wrote a 3 star review as we had a mixed visit; some great points and a few negative ones.

After spotting an issue with a transaction on my return and feeling I have had no support from customer services I can only now give a one star review.

After a first day of long queues and broken down rides I decided to purchase a ride on reserve pass for the three of us for the second day. A ride and reserve pass means that you virtually queue then go to the ride once your queue time is over.

They have many different options, and I looked initially at the ride and reserve standard pass. I believe the price of this changes depending on how busy the park is and can vary from £15-£35. Obviously, as we were visiting in half term, the price was £35 per ticket, so a total of £105 for the three of us. I made a purchase through the website and had to approve the purchase on my bank, I then got a notification on my phone to say that the payment had been rejected. As a result of that notification I then went to purchase a standard ride and reserve pass again for £105 which was successfully completed.

It was only after our visit that I noticed two things; firstly two pending transactions of £105, showing on my credit card and two emails from Legoland confirming two different transaction numbers both for £105

I queried this with a customer service team who advised I have paid for the express service where tickets were £70 for each person that is on top of your actual day ticket value which is extortionate. They said because I had made two transactions the second transaction was in effect an upgrade.

My issue is that both times I made the purchase through the standard ride and reserved option and having been advised the first payment was declined why would I then expect it to be a retake payment which is what they did. In my mind it is a flaw in their booking system.

Even after escalating to management, I have only been offered a £40 Lego voucher and three free tickets for next season. As we live a good five hour drive away from Legoland, to use those free tickets would result in a further expensive cost of hotels and travel. I just want to warn other people who attempt to use the system about the flaws to watch out for.

If it was an express ride reserve we used and not the standard option I dread to think what the standard option is actually like. we still had to spend time queueing in an actual queue after the virtual queue to go on rides sometimes up to 30 to 40 minutes and on other occasions after the virtual ride time, the ride itself broke down, so that was a waste of a virtual queue when we could’ve been queueing for something else.

Alongside this I also had to issues I’ve been overcharged at the kiosks. The first case being an item stand twice which I appreciate can be a mistake. The second time was purchasing a bottle of water which should’ve been £2.50 which came up on the till as £5.25. Not sure what happened there. I would just also advise you to be cautious when using your card to pay and always double checking what the total is.

Overall, at this time, I do not feel I could recommend Legoland to anyone as I feel that customer service is dreadfully lacking

We as a family been to Legoland few times and we stayed over in the hotel but this visit really is disappointing, it’s getting worse since after covid times , there are less rides opened and more are shut or closed, I don’t understand, No wonder the waiting times for other attractions are longer because everyone is queuing up for one or two open rides despite there are less people coming or visiting Legoland , all tickets are sold for this particular weekend and only booked guests are visiting this place . Food is very expensive like dinner is 27.99 per adult for 3 course meal , wow ! Lots of takeaways in the area that deliver here anyway so we did that , just disappointed, won’t come back here again .

We booked a coach trip for a family of four with overnight stay and 2day Park entrance. This cost nearly 500.00.
We went specifically for the well advertised 'Brick or Treat'. What a down,no atmosphere, most.of the rides and food halls were.closed. The food areas that were open were, under staffed, dirty, food all over the place, staff with no idea about customer service. 2 shows were cancelled after we had sat in the rain for 20 minutes. 2 rides were cancelled due to technical issues After we had queued half an hour and been sat on the ride for 10 minutes. The areas were dirty and un kept. The young staff were all more interested in chatting then interacting and being courteous with the visitors. A complete let down from start to finish. I see they are advertising for Christmas ans New Year I would spend your money somewhere else.

Disappointed that the big rides weren't open, especially after travelling 3 hours to get there.
As always at such days out drinks and food overpriced so take packed lunch to avoid added expenses.
