Our lucky day! St. George's Chapel was open the day of our visit. (Have not been lucky in the past.) A beautiful place of worship. The architecture is stunning, and the details are breathtaking. Take the time to walk at a slow pace to take in the splendor of this space. Besides the structure, the history that is within is... More

The history of England of all over this amazing building. If you do like history it is amazing to think of everyone that has been there before you, and some that now lie beneath your feet such as Henry VIII. The staff are full of information if you ask them. You need to pay the entrance fee to the Castle... More

This chapel is open to public for service. Common people are invited to attend. No, chances are Queen won't be attending with you but you can see where they will be seated. It is interesting to know about the flags hanging and what that signify. Also surprise to know some belongs to other countries. What a history. By gone era... More

Were there for the Evensong Service that afternoon and it was amazing. Everyone should try to attend this service. It is an actual service that is held every day and the choir is fantastic. The Chapel itself is amazing. Love the architecture and the history you feel when you are here. Would recommend that every visit if you have any... More

That said, it is a place with a history and the remains of key people like Henry VIII. The audio guide (from the main Castle tour) is excellent in explaining The Quire that is worth spending some time in.

We actually managed to get to a Christmas Evensong at this most beautiful chapel. It was one of the highlights of my life. Simply breathtaking. And the ministers were lovely and the singing angelic.
