Take a Long Walk

We walked part of the Long Walk--there were horse carts practicing for a competition. That was fun to watch. Also, a great place to meet and talk with locals.

Spend a day out at the Saville Garden and Virginia Water which was amazing. Enjoyed exploring the place. Went there during weekdays so the amqount of people visited was average and sun is out it was just perfect! I would love to go back there again especially on a sunny day.

Park at the Fox and Hounds, walk around the park and then go back to the pub for a bite to eat and a beer or wine - wonderful!

First time I'd been to this show & I had a wonderful time , lots to see if you're a horse enthusiastic . Paid extra £5 per night for reserved seating in the grandstand which was worth it in my view. Parking very expensive £9 per day on top of the cost of the entry ticket.facilities were good I was... More

If you visit Windsor, you must take the long walk as the photos will be spectacular! It's easy to find but ask for directions if not. It's good for runners or people wanting to take a walk however no 🚴🏻 cycling or bikes permitted.

Enjoyable day, scenic boat tour of Thames river, along with lots of swans, crews from Eaton school. Many reasonable eaterys, shops. Windsor Castle is visible from everywhere. Good shopping, and a very walkable village. Can understand why royalty visits frequently.

It is a wonderful walk from the Copper Horse down the tree lined avenue to Windsor castle. There were two herds or deer one just by the Copper Horse and one further down the avenue grazing near the path. The view both ways are spectacular and there are no cyclists and only the very very occasional car so it's a... More

Long walk is brilliant on a nice spring/summer day. I've done it quite a few times and always felt good at the end of it. Its beautiful, plenty of deers, if you can ignore aircrafts landing/taking off noise, even better!!!!

This is my favorite place where to go for a run, especially early mornings or evenings. It is a safe place even if you run alone and it becomes almost magical when all the deer finally show up at sunset.
