This is a small single room museum on the ground floor of the Windsor Guildhall building close to the Castle. There’s a small entry fee of just £2, but it’s well worth paying to see a fascinating collection of objects connected with the town and its long history. There are also useful information boards all round the room with photographs and explanations. There’s an area in the centre with various things to keep children amused. Children had a fabulous time, would like to have stayed for a week if they could! plenty of different rides, activities etc . did not like the idea of Qbots queue jumping though

Visited with Grand children , Museum running a summer creative school, arts and crafts with historical relevance, very creative and stimulating, 3D effects , produced with help of scissors cotton wool and excellent staff, most rewarding

The museum sits well under the Guildhall and its worth the small entrance fee to browse the local history of Windsor. Friendly, helpful staff and free map of Windsor and Eton. Worthy of 20 minutes of your time.
