NICE LAID OUT MUSEUM
Aug 2021
A small museum, but well worth a visit.
Lots to look at in such a tight area, however with friendly and knowledgeable staff on hand to answer questions, it’s certainly worth a visit.
Also the entrance fee is very fair indeed.

A good way to while away an hour.

This is a low key museum which is worthy of support. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's not the best but the admittance price reflects that. it is not suitable for anyone who doesn't like stairs.

Lovely little museum located on the main street of Broadway. The Cabinet of Curiosities was particularly interesting.
Good value for £5

A perfect little museum with interesting exhibits
Sep 2020
Lovely little museum with a fabulous new exhibition of art & fashion right on the High St of this glorious Cotswold village.
Interesting room describing the colony of American artists and writers who settled in Broadway.
Beautiful historic building with oak panelling, impressive fireplaces and delightful views.
Bijou museum shop and very friendly staff.
Such good value at only £5.

Lots of Covid measures in place (plus temperature checks) so felt very safe visiting.
No need to book.

Amazing Miniature Exhibition...
Nov 2019
This is a great small museum with something for everyone but the crowning feature for us was the Willard Wigan exhibition. The exhibition is viewed through a series of microscopes (there are step stools for children so it is child friendly as well). How someone can create something like the the last supper within the eye of a needle is a wonder to behold - absolutely stunning. Don't miss this - its worth the entrance fee on its own.

The permanent exhibition charts the history of the surrounding areas (all interesting) and a second visiting exhibition on Maths in art and dimensions was engaging and informative. Last but not least - do take the trouble to go to the top floor and see the work of the 'artist in residence'. We were lucky to meet him and it was a perfect example of enthusiasm and sublime skill all of which he was will ing to share. A great couple of hours.

Perfect small museum
Nov 2019
This museum has something for everyone but is small enough that you can see everything in an hour or so. The Willard Wigan exhibition is very interesting and in itself worth the admission price. Volunteer staff on front desk very friendly and informative.

Small but delightful museum

This was a lovely small museum with lots of local history. It also had an exhibition on mathematics and geometry in design plus an absolutely fascinating exhibition of Willard Wigan’s minute creations in the eyes of needles!

Great place to visit

We came to stay in Broadway as we had heard about the Willard Wigan exhibition. We were definitely not disappointed. They really are a must see. Also the rest of the museum was really interesting too. Very friendly person on the front desk. You do have to pay £5 admission but it is well worth it.

A beautiful local museum

A very nice local museum telling the stories of the local community. The museum is an old coach station and covers the times from the tudor era till the early 20th century. Highli recommended along the other local ponts of interest in Broadway.
