We went down along the riverside to find a good evening meal and were very pleased to se such a lovely river front with geese and swans swimming around near the bridge in the light from the bridge .

The Avon is a beautiful river, running through the pretty town of Evesham. There is a good footpath along the town side bank, accessed near one of two bridges which serve the town. The path is shaded by the tall trees running along the river...More

Beautiful area of the Avon, complete with gorgeous park and Abbey and Churches. Delightful town. Spent most of the day here and took a boat ride down the Avon.

Lovely park for any age and just a few steps from the town centre. I was sad that the whale bone had been removed for safety reasons having taken children and then years later grandchildren to see it.
