The story of The Malvern Cure.
We arrived within minutes of a new presentation on The Malvern Cure. We were held in fascination by the adept story telling by the Curator. You will learn so much about this subject in 30 minutes. We went for encores a plenty from the fountain of knowledge. It’s a must do learning experience. Keenly priced at £2 currently. Prepare to be amazed.

From medieval to Morgan, and a treat for a nerd!
Thoroughly enjoyed this local museum which packs a hell of a lot of stuff into a small space, and very reasonably price with friendly volunteers. Takes you on a journey from the geology of the Malverns through the medieval to Victorian water cures and on to radar and the Morgan company. Lots of interesting boards and exhibits, I particularly liked the display about the Imperial Hotel and the "worm tunnel" from the railway station, which of course I had to go and see when we went back to the Station (I know I can hear the cries of nerd ringing around!). Well worth a visit!!

    Visit this museum - it’s a gem!
Wonderful local museum which gives you a great overview of Malvern’s rich and colourful history! It’s compact but packs in an awful lot of interesting items. The staff were fantastic and a special mention to Jan who really took the time to make our visit memorable and entertaining. You can buy her excellent book in the cafe next door!

Small and incredibly fascinating museum within the former Benedictine Abbey gatehouse. Entirely run by friendly and knowledgeable volunteers, it’s an amazing place, oozing history and full of stories of Malvern from the Devonian to present day. There is an option of using a handheld audio thingy or you can wander through at your own pace and read the information boards en route. We did both! There is a set of stairs up to the first floor but they are not too difficult. Upstairs has a wealth of information on local history, bicycle manufacturers, Morgan Motors, the rise of the spa town, Dickens, Darwin and Elgar. A superb place to spend 1 - 2 hours. Highly recommended.

Brilliant experience. After visiting Great Malvern on many occasions we finally got around to visiting this "hidden gem".
There is so much to see in such a small space. Considering that Malvern is a small town, the number of significant historical events that have occurred here is phenomenal, ranging from prehistoric settlements to radar development.
I learned that hundreds of injured US troops recuperated here in WWII.
The museum staff were kind and helpful.
The visit took over an hour. No mean feat considering the small size of the building!

You will be met at the entrance by a wonderful character named Luke and once inside the door greeted by two lovely helpful and knowledgable ladies whose passion for the treasures in the museum shines through.. they will provide you with all the information you need or simply let you through to meander through the rooms at your own pace… there is something for everyone inside and well worth a visit.

We were the first people through the door as it opened after the winter. It’s a small but really interesting museum full of local facts and I’d tell everyone going to Malvern to stop in here and have a look around! It’s only £2
