We visited with the grandchildren went centre course Worcester sadly is awful now its been going downhill since ARC took over. No picnics allowed into centre course? We were informed by the staff you cannot take anything in to eat or drink you have to eat it in the car park.
We went in food and drinks very overpriced and of poor quality we didn't touch it We found the toilets poor we will leave it at that. The "other" facilities poor viewing not great all in all not a good day. People wanting alcoholic beverages couldn't get any they ran out early on.
We left after the 4th race had our picnic and left we won't be coming back.
Arc have gone after the boozers of a certain age who will buy their overpriced poor quality subcontracted food and drink.
Well fine we won't be back an will take custom elsewhere.

Attended the Worcrster Show on Sunday 14th August 2022 and although a great location, when the stallholders wanted to pack up and leave the site or fetch their trailers which they had to leave just outside, they were told they were unable to do this until all customers had left the site. Not surprisingly they kicked off as they were NOT made aware of this. They went and spoke to someone about this, a H&S Advisor who to be honest I felt her attitude was appalling and told everyone that she was not allowing anyone to leave the site until she said so and she had the authority to do this!! I will certainly be telling people next year not to attend this show due to the appalling behaviour of that H&S Advisor but also because I've never heard anything so ridiculous. They could easily have cordoned off a section for them to leave or bring their vehicles on site to enable them to load up and leave. Very badly handled by Worcester Council and not a successful event today!

my main gripe is the cost of the food and drink inside.
for a tray of chips and gravy with a sausage in was £8 and a pint of lager shandy was £6.
i understand people have to claw money back but if you went as a family it would be very costly.
not one fo the best courses but we only paid £18 in so good value apart from when you actually get inside!!!

Well today wasn’t quite like any of our previous visits to Worcester Racecourse, like previously I paid a premium for The Seven Restaurant experience. Same sort of prices but oh my word we would have been better off with general entry. Eating from one of the venders.
For what we paid the food was appalling. My chicken was raw in parts. The starter was a joke and the sticky toffee pudding was cold.
It was pointless complaining as we had to ask repeatedly if we could order, for drinks,, for the bill.
Have to say the staff were lovely but were pulled everywhere.
Prior to booking I called about booking afternoon tea and was told “we no longer offer this” however a table close to us were preset with afternoon tea.
So disappointed for Father’s Day too 😡 everyone was complaining but the food and service was well below par.

Visited for the first time for ladies day. Racecourse is within walking distance from the train station which is great as only 10 minutes. We had centre course tickets and we were disappointed that there was absolutley no shelter at all, of course the racecourse can’t help the weather but we thought there would at least be outdoor tents. There was a few plastic chairs and tables but no where near enough for the amount of race goers so it was a stand in the rain job for most people. This put us off and we ended up leaving early. Drinks are expensive but if you are used to race prices you won’t be surprised- £8.50 for a prosecco, £7 for a can in a cocktail, Carlsberg only beer available on draft.
Overall we would visit again as easy to get to but would pay for better tickets although we do still think Worcester should improve the facilities for centre course ticket holders.

First they send you an extensive list of "DON'TS" before you even get to the course.
No food allowed which is fine if the choices inside were reasonably priced and edible.
£9 for a cold sausage and cardboard chips. Absolutely disgusting and Tea for £2+ which you had to make yourself using condiments from one of the most unhygienic counters I've ever seen. All the serving staff were apathetic and rude. I asked about a blocked salt cellar and it was as though I had gunged it up on purpose.
The racing and views are adequate which stopped me from rating it terrible. I won't be going again. I didn't feel welcome at all.

Today I went to Worcester races with the hope that things have improved since I stopped being a Annual member there a couple of years ago. The toilets are a disgrace. I took a risk and went in a cubicle. The lock was broke, the toilet seat fell off onto the floor and when I pulled at the toilet paper dispenser it came off the wall. It’s been like that for years. Surely there are managers who check the venue for health and safety and standards. Obviously not. The beer was about £6 a pint or more. You had to pay 50p for a recyclable cup. I thought you would hand the cup in after using it and get 50p back but you don’t. The bar staff are still not competent in understanding clear orders in English and struggle to use the Tills. We left after 5 races and won’t be going there again. The standards were better when I went in the 1980’s. Your better off stopping at home and watching it on tv and not risk using there awful facilities. The managers/owners need to get a grip of the place. They are letting the local area and racing down

This review would have been zero stars if it wasn’t for the free kids activities which to be fair they really enjoyed. That’s about where the good news stops unfortunately. Having visited worcester races a few times for a fun day out with the family and a picnic, we turned up as usual only to be met by security who informed us that as of this year picnics are not allowed on site!!
So pretty much all the food had to be left in a warm car and if we wanted to enjoy to eat we would have to return to the car, eat and then walk back into the course. It’s a family fun day what kind of awful idea was it to ban picnics??? I can only think it’s for financial gain.
After race 3 of 8 I decided to go and find a beer from the bar, well I call it a bar it was a small tent with no signs at all of what it was selling. When I asked for a beer I was told that they had sold out or larger!! Race 3 of 8 and they have sold out, what kind of a joke organisation runs this place? So anyway I had to settle for a warm bottle of corona which looked like it was one of the last available and went to pay for my drink. Sorry no cash sir I was told 🤦🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️, so my winnings from the race before were useless and I had to pay by card which again is not customer friendly at all.
Following this I took my daughter to find the toilets which are now single portaloos, they were absolutely filthy and had no water left to wash your hands or hand gel.
All in all it’s gone so down bank we will not be returning until I am assured things have improved drastically. It needs serious investment and the middle of the course is like going back in time 30-40 years, very sad to see and a bit like the whole horse racing industry it needs to get with the times!!

Booked 10 tickets to celebrate a friends special birthday. I emailed Worcester Racecourse in February requesting details of gluten free food options & had no response.
I called them & left multiple voicemails, emails & Facebook messages. Finally had an email back confirming the noodle bar, Mexican food unit & burger unit all had gluten free food.
On the day, I was unable to get to those food places from the grandstand, until the main event, Boyzlife were performing. Asked at each stand and was told they do not serve gluten free food. Really disappointed and hungry! Would not recommend to coeliacs or anyone needing to eat a gluten free diet. . . . It's not a choice!

A curates egg of an experience. First massive praise in putting on a public meeting in difficult times. All staff friendly and helpful.
The more expensive tickets had the poorer facilities in terms of the number of bookmakers and food/drink concessions although you did get paddock views. The much cheaper centre enclosure appears to be a much better deal at the moment.
Low point was the poor choice of food available as I was left with a roast pork roll allegedly with traditional accompaniments. Well a dryish burger bun with roast pork accompanied by errrr no apple sauce, no crackling, no stuffing and no gravy with no condiments in sight didn't fit the advertised description. This was half was into the meeting so no excuses. £5 wasted, not good enough.

Sorry I don't know. It's a flat open area around the stands mainly laid to concrete so access should be fine

Hello, you are welcome to bring a picnic in the Centre Course enclosure on Ladies Day, however picnics are not allowed in the County Enclosure.
There is an alcohol policy in operation on Ladies Day in the Centre Course enclosure, which is one sealed bottle of wine per person OR 4 cans per person - the full policy can be viewed on our website.
Hope this helps!
Many thanks, the Worcester Racecourse Team.
