Enjoyed our day at the races here. The adjacent car park was amazingly cheap to park all day (avoid NCP in town - ridiculously expensive). Good seating by the course, easy to get to the paddocks and plenty of viewing space. Quick and easy to place bets, and with a big screen as well you saw all the detail of every race.

I’d visited Worcester races on a few previous occasions.
I do find it quite condensed compared with other courses, however the viewing is excellent.
Parking is in the centre of the course, and can be a little bit of a nightmare getting out.

I was surprised by the number of people that where here with the restrictions on covid. We went as UB40 where playing after the racing. Wish we hadn't as they where a load of rubbish. The lead singer who has replace Ali Campbell looked like he didn't want to be there. They also hardly played any of there old songs and kept playing songs of their new album which by the look of all the people leaving half way through they where in the same boat as us as didn't know they had a new album out. We never stayed till the end either as was not what we expected and I wont be going to see them again

Went to see UB40 and a good days racing. Both made for a great day and evening out in the summer sunshine. Tickets reasonably priced at £35 per adult in the Grandstand. Food and drinks do cost more than you would usually pay at these type of events, compared to your local, and therefore should be expected. Card payment only at the bars but the on course bookies still take good old fashioned cash. UB40 played for around 2hours after the racing had finished in the setting sun. Great atmosphere all day. Worcester race course is a good family day out even without UB40 playing. Set your own budget for betting and remember NEVER bet more than you can afford to lose and DO NOT chase your losses.

Visited on a Monday in July. Very expensive to enter in comparison to other racecourses.. In desperate need of a revamp/ updating. That said we did enjoy our afternoons racing. There was a very friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

my main gripe is the cost of the food and drink inside.
for a tray of chips and gravy with a sausage in was £8 and a pint of lager shandy was £6.
i understand people have to claw money back but if you went as a family it would be very costly.
not one fo the best courses but we only paid £18 in so good value apart from when you actually get inside!!!

Been to many tracks around the country and Worcester rates in our top three. Very close to the town situated alongside the river. Limited number of race goers allowed in due to covid restrictions. This made for an even more enjoyable day as there were no queues for food or drink. £20 for nearly five hours racing. You can’t really go wrong, especially when the sun shines all day. We will return shortly.

A curates egg of an experience. First massive praise in putting on a public meeting in difficult times. All staff friendly and helpful.
The more expensive tickets had the poorer facilities in terms of the number of bookmakers and food/drink concessions although you did get paddock views. The much cheaper centre enclosure appears to be a much better deal at the moment.

Low point was the poor choice of food available as I was left with a roast pork roll allegedly with traditional accompaniments. Well a dryish burger bun with roast pork accompanied by errrr no apple sauce, no crackling, no stuffing and no gravy with no condiments in sight didn't fit the advertised description. This was half was into the meeting so no excuses. £5 wasted, not good enough.

The Worcester racecourse, known as Pitchcroft, is a beautiful, natural resource and outdoor space, set between the eastern bank of the River Severn (flowing north to south through the city) and the city centre.

The perimeter of Pitchcroft is approximately 1.8 miles in length, with a level footpath following about 1.5 miles of it, giving universal access. Much of the path is tree lined, providing an all round beautiful vista, whatever the season. Pitchcroft's expansive grassed areas provide plenty of space for ball games, picnics, and pets to run free. I would certainly recommend a stroll around Pitchcroft to any visitor to the historical city of Worcester, whatever the weather.
