    Blustery walk
It was a very blustery day when we visited but we managed a short walk on the beach and beachfront. There are lots of pebbles on the beach but we did find some Sandy spots. There is a car park near the harbour which you can walk from and carry on along the front.

    What a lovely day here
We visited Aberystwyth sea front for the day whilst staying at a caravan park 10 mins away. We spent hours here and enjoyed every minute. We had a long walk along the front in which the views were great. We visited the hut for ice creams and mikshakes and all thoroughly enjoyed and were not bad prices at all. We went to the fish and chips shop opposite the arcades for lunch and this was delicious too. The castle is also a great walk around and has a play area for the children Will definitely return if we come back to the area

    Would return for a walk.
Parking was a little difficult and can only do 2 hrs or 24. Had a lovely walk though. A few people on the beach including dogs. A couple of places for an icecream and snack but not the cheapest. Over £4 for 1 icecream with a flake by the arcade. Small arcade so was nice enough. Would go for a walk for an hour again though if in the area.

Visited Aberystwyth seafront on a cold rainy day, however, still enjoyed and can imagine on a day with better weather would be worth a visit.

Had a lovely day in Aberystwyth. Ruined by the small minded officialdom.
We payed to park on the sea front..went out for the day and returned to find a parking ticket. As it turns out, motorhomes are not welcome! We were obstructing no-one and moved to the 'official' motorhome parking as soon as one became available. There are four! None of them are long enough for our camper and I fully expect to get another ticket for overhanging the bay!
We will not be returning and the £100+ we spent today on food etc will be spent somewhere more welcoming!
You can stick it Aberystwyth!

Drove 2 hrs from Shrewsbury to the coast. Couldn’t let dogs on ‘beach’. Parked near promenade but I can’t remember another UK resort being so uninspiring. Drab, grey, run down, absolutely nothing of interest. Nowhere jumped out at us to even have a coffee. Found one fish and chips takeaway hidden near promenade but they didn’t take cards. A disappointing dump that we’ll certainly never visit again.

This is a lovely promenade, to take a walk down or just to sit and watch the world go by, or look at the views.

This is a bit of a dated seafront but I liked it for its combination of food suppliers and places to sit and watch the sea while eating. There may have been a beach belown, if the tide had gone out. The town generally smelt more of urine than I remember from previous visits.

The buildings are all painted in different colours so make it look vibrant. Lovely walk along the promenade and over-sized deckchairs to sit in or take photos of. Sandpit on the prom for little ones. Parking free unless you are at the far end of South Beach. The sand is a bit gritty so really need shoes. I saw the dolphins at South Beach whilst enjoying an ice cream. Toilets at both North and South beaches.

Dirty old place looks run down. The only good thing about it was the fresh hot doughnuts from the snack hut.
Not somewhere I would want to go out my way to visit.
