It's free in, and they're looking after history, so that's an automatic five stars right off the bat. There's some taxidermy, old dolls, model sailing ships in bottles and frames, some old gramophone and radio stuff. There are staircases full of oil paintings and, when...More

Very disapointing and nothing really to keep kids amused or interested. The building is quaint and it is free entry but we certainly won't be going again.

At the time I had been a visitor to Aberystwyth for many years and not known about the museum. When we went with our daughter we had a great time. There is so much to look at and learn about.

Worth a visit as the surroundings/setting are excellent. Poorly laid out exhibition and out of date exhibits and also insufficient and relevant information regarding exhibits'. There is a room containing a number of gruesome animal artefacts ie old stuffed animals which were not pleasant to...More

Hi, I am looking to book a room for a couple of nights during Graduation week in June( don't yet know the exact dates am afraid!..). Are you likely to have anything with a sea view available for that week and how much do you charge for either a single or double room with bathroom? Thank you in advance for your reply.
