Richard met us from our holiday cottage and we spent a wonderful afternoon touring around the Cambrian mountains. Richard was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining and the time went by so quickly. He took us to places that we would not have been aware of or even able to get to in our small vehicle. We would definitely book another tour on a return visit to Wales

We had a wonderful day out with Richard exploring the stunningly beautiful area all around the Cambrian mountains.
There is so many beautiful areas to see all just a few miles apart. We went off the beaten track to get into the heart of the mountains. Richard has a wide and very interesting knowledge of the local area and the history that shaped this part of Wales.
A tour really not to be missed if you want to experience the beauty of this area of wales

Great tour! Richard the tour guide had a great knowledge of the area. We drove on sensational paths through nature, great views, good tips for the next few days, nice walks. Gladly again!

A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Richard was friendly relaxed and very knowledgeable about the area especially the history of mining. Showed us a number of things we would not have noticed by ourselves. Often went on forest tracks and private roads to see things that were not normally accessible. We cannot recommend this experience highly enough

I recently traveled to Wales with family members to trace our roots. Richard went above and beyond to ensure that our trip provided all the experiences we were hoping for. In one town he arranged for us to meet with the vicar for a church that was likely where our ancestors worshipped and view old tomes of death records looking for clues to our family's past. In another town, he made arrangements for a visit to a home where relatives had lived.
We spent 5 days touring the country with Richard and can't say enough about his skills as a guide. His enthusiasm for the country is infectious and his knowledge is extensive. Plus he's a delight to spend time with!

Absolutely amazing day today with Richard!! Couldn't have asked for a nicer and more knowledgeable guide!!! Such amazing scenery and history and all on my door step!! Highly recommended!!!!

Yet another fantastic trip with Richard. Last time we did half day Hinterland tour which was amazing.
Just got back after full day Lakes and Mountain roads.
Absolutely fantastic day even the bit of rain didnt ruin it.
Richard is so passionate about what he does and everywhere we drove.
I would highly recommend anyone to see Wales with Richard as their tour guide.

Richard provided 6 hours of fascinating local history and geography. We ( there were 4 of us and a dog) travelled through small villages and towns and then high into the hills with magnificent views, using Forestry Commission roads,.
Our trip included a one hour tour at ‘Silver Mountain Experience’
Our impression is that these tours into the history and landscape of Ceredigion and beyond can be tailored very much to people’s wishes.
An excellent day out.

Contacted Richard very last minute who was really accommodating & arranged a 'mini tour for us the following day. Clear joining instructions/links forwarded & met us promptly. Really knowledgeable, friendly 2 1/2 hr tour with fabulous scenery & opened up lots of opportunities for return visits to this beautiful area. Thank you.
