Visited the museum to have a rest from climbing castle spiral stairs and found that the story through the ages to the modern-day was so absorbing that we nearly missed the train back to Porthmadog!

A lovely museum, great friendly staff, plenty to see and hear, and takes you through the history of the regiment. Highly Recommended.

This easy to walk through museum is within the castle. While you’re at the castle, it would be a pity to miss a walk through and learn about the history of the Welsh Regimental army. It's worth it to visit just to meet the men...More

We probably wouldn't have visited had this not been within the castle. Some interesting exhibits, but military history isn't. Major interest for us.

This museum is inside the castle walls. It is nicely laid out, with a good range of exhibits and a guided tour is available.
