Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My family had a great time at Tir Prince funfair, I like the loadable card idea, Instead of paying cash for each ride.
The toilets are a mess.
Am not too keen on the blue flooring you have put down, all the cables are underneath, you can't see where they are.
Where is the horse carousel?
I like the food vendors where they are, looks good. We had doughnuts, beautiful.

Not great value for money.

We got the £30 card from the desk.

As our son is little we needed either myself or his dad to go on rides with him, so after a few all the points were gone.

We also went over to a penalty kick place which only took cash and not the card we just paid for.

Expensive for what you get.

Good fair for kids, good variety of rides for little kids to bigger kids, food outlets decent too, nice carpet material under your feet which makes it look rather smart

Went to this fair on Wednesday 17th August, bought the £50 card thought the prices were fair apart from the go carts. My 11year old grandson and I went on a few rides all was well until we went to go on the waltzers they looked in a poor condition seats were ripped and sunken in below the supporting metal frame but assuming they were fit for purpose we went on the ride it started off and within minutes the spinning waltzer changed direction with an erratic lurch and it threw me on to the floor banging my back on the raised metal frame my grandson was panicking as I struggled to get back up to the seat whilst it was still spinning, at the end of the ride I couldn't at first stand up so one of the guys from the ride came over to see what the problem was as my grandson was clearly upset by what had happened we told him what the issue was and all I got was are you OK, no details were taken, my back is sore and bruised, I have been riding on waltzers for more years than I like to admit to and have never experienced anything like this before. Today Sunday the 21st August we have been to the market across from this fair and noticed that the waltzers have had a make over all new cars on them, it all looks very different, my husband asked one of the fair staff if they had been changed since Wednesday and he said yes, it all seems too coincidental

On 2nd August 2022 me, my 3 sons and their families planned to visit Towyn on the next day. We thought about visiting the Tir Prince fun park.
On 2nd August I rang Tir Prince to ask what the prices were. The lady said that rides were 2to4 credits and go karts were 6 credits. She said that a card with 40 credits cost £30. a card with 55 credits cost £40 and a card with 70 credits cost £50.
I told the lady that my 2 youngest grandchildren would need to go on rides with their parents, so they would need 2 x £40 cards. the rest of the 3 families would need 11 x £30 cards. This would total £410.
I asked the lady if we could have a discount on £410. She asked what time we would get to the funfair the next day. I said between noon and 1pm. She told me to go to the kiosk and ask the attendant to radio a manager, David Bailey, to meet us and discuss a discount.
We arrived at 12.30 on 3rd August. We asked for David Bailey but another man arrived who said that he was the site manager. I recounted my conversation the day before and asked for a discount on £410.
The manager said that the lady should have told me that there were no discounts. He told me very bluntly that it had to be the full £410. Personally, I would have left - but I couldnt because I was surrounded by 3 families wanting to go on the rides.
We had to pay the full £410. A lot of money for Tir Prince but we wont be going there again.

Arrived on a Friday with my 3 children, I paid £50 for 70 tokens which wasn’t bad, there was plenty of rides for their age groups (6,7,9) and some rides more suited to older kids. We had loads of fun, the rides and grounds are nice and clean and the staff were all brilliant. Only downside was we got noodles from one of the stalls there and they were horrible, 4 boxes of noodles 1 small chips and 5 drinks cost £35 which I wouldn’t of minded so much if the lot didn’t end up in the bin, chips included. Nevertheless we had a really good day, it’s well worth a visit as is the market next door.
