Dropped in here prior to going to dinner. Great pub with friendly staff, guest ales which they let you sample and two lovely roaring fires, brilliant when it’s a bit chilly outside. It’s dog friendly and they also have a tiny limited snack menu, olives,...More

Always a pleasure to visit here. Great staff. Welcoming for dogs. Great local real ales. Nice atmosphere. Only disappointing thing are the Jones crisps - they are poor.

Genuine pub with traditional feel to it. Good selection of real ales and excellent pies from local butcher. Glad to see that they didn't serve shots.

a reviewer commented that the pies were expensive . I beg to differ-they aren't cheap but they are lovely. fillet is more expensive than braising steak. Friendly staff give great advice and a fantastic selection of ciders. could not fault the place.More

Down to earth traditional local pub in the heart of Conwy town centre. Great choice of well kept local real ales and local gins Food offering limited to pickled eggs, pork pies and pork scratching though!

One of the best old style real ale pubs I have ever been in to in many years of drinking - makes me sound like an 'alkie', but seriously all the ales on were local, and all delicious. Previous visits to nearby Anglesey had with...More
