Fantastic views of the lighthouse and cliffs from South stack. RSPB shop, cafe and toilets at main car park with play equipment for children. Further up road , steps lead down to lighthouse with more great views and possibilities for birding but none seen today...More

Lots of hiking trails in the area with breathtaking scenery, view Holyhead mountain for a really good view of the area. Port of Holyhead is the place to catch the ferry to Dublin where the Guinness boat comes from.

Buy tickets at the visitor centre. No access to the island without a ticket. No dogs allowed on the island. Stunning coastal walks without actually visiting the island. We saw the choughs flying. Well worth visiting. Would be nice to to walk from Holyhead.
