Having grown up living in the island as a young girl, I brought my Hubbie to the island for s weekend of sight seeing! I brought him here to show him how truly beautiful the island actually is! The sun was shining and it was fresh!! We didn't venture the long hard walk down the never ending steps, but instead... More

Picturesque and historic! I loved visiting the lighthouse. A beautiful walk from the café/gift shop where you purchase your tickets, down a few hundred steps with stunning views of the sea and cliffs, across a bridge and you arrive on the little island with the lighthouse on. Lots of information in the building surrounding the lighthouse and then we were... More

Beautiful lighthouse, when we visited the weather was inclement. It is very unsheltered but beautiful views. Please be careful by the edge as people were leaning over to look!!! Well built steps to cliffs edge.

Called whilst in Holyhead, which is not the nicest of places, and found a beautiful oasis which was clean and the visitor centre was very informative and boasts a little cafe and toilets. South Stack is well worth a visit if you're at the north of the island and we found it relaxing and actually quite tranquil and most definitely a... More

A journey worth making if you are on the Island of Anglesey. The views across to Snowdonia are outstanding. A first class cafe nearby. The RSPB have a good centre for all visitors , not just bird lovers. Car parking good.

We went to visit the lighthouse after reading about it in one of the leaflets in our hotel. After following the typical 'brown signs' we made it. Upon getting out of the car we were met with what felt like a 60mph wind! Unfortunately, due to this weather, the access to the lighthouse itself was closed as it was a... More

An amazing experience. Definately return again. I had to keep my children at a distance as theres no barrier at the end of the cliffs. Amazing for adults but very dangerous for kids
