Beautiful old cinema, however, now operates under 3 buisness, tanning salon, kids play school and one cinema screen, amazing price to watch a film, however that's no suprise... Not recommended for the English faternity as staff don't welcome then at all.... Security guards are clowns and appears that Holyhead wants Welsh independence from the uk

Thank you for taking the time to write this review – obviously we, and our valued customers, won't be taking it seriously due to the complete fabrications contained within it. And, just for clarification, the tanning studio is not part of our business even though it’s in the same building.

Absolutely can’t fault it really can you? The price on a Wednesday is £3! Where else can you go and watch a film for that price? Cheaper than renting or buying a film at home with the luxury of sitting in a nice clean cinema. Even on other days it’s just £6. Can’t fault it one bit and will definitely be returning.

This cute little cinema is a must, the new big complexes are good, but for something a little special - if you are on Anglesea go and watch something at the cinema, the only way these places stay open is if we use them, one Covid-19 is near an end they will need us even more. We can't wait to come back.

This play centre is OK but is in desperate need of a good scrub. Sticky floors, sticky/dirty mats, layers of dust in areas you can't get to (no big deal but not good impression management).
If it wasn't so gross I'd go back! The big frame is good and has a small area for younger children. Good slides. Would say essential for parent to go with under 4s/5s when exploring big frame, particularly when busy.

Booked on line on a Monday to select seat to watch award winning film "1917" on the Weds ( 16.30pm). Unbelievable half price mid-week cost of £3. Where else could you see a top film at this price, when film has only just come out.?
Cinema run by Holyhead Town Council. Seats are spacious,& very comfortable- I estimated it held about 100. 3 flights of stairs however, but there is a lift- which I have been informed is a bit unreliable ( tends to stop mid way- but if you keep pressing button it will get to top/bottom !) Maybe, this has now been repaired ?
Plenty of parking in and around the cinema- even the main St.Cybi car park is only 3 mins walk away !
Any visitors to Anglesey looking for something to do on a wet day, just look up what's on in the Empire & book your tickets on-line ! Highly recommended.
You would have to pay 3-4 times as much at the nearest large cinema complex in Llandudno Junction.

We went to see Downton Abbey. There was a special rate for September which was a welcome suprise. The staff at the ticket desk were friendly and very helpful. Although a small cinema the seats were comfortable.

Cheap entry fee. Most of it toddler friendly. However the seating area is very crammed and needs to be a lot more spacious. Also would be ideal if the "cafe" sold more than just drinks and a few chocolate bars and sweets for example light snacks and refreshments.

After reading previous reviews, we booked a midweek showing (16:30) which was ideal for under 5s especially if the weather is not too good. I would recommend booking online as about 50 seats available.

We spend many weekends on the island and have found the play area fantastic for our grandson, but this weekend we decided to visit the cinema. This was a great experience and very cheap at £5.50 for an adult ticket. This is a success story for the local council and one we will continue to support.
