At Canyon Wales we offer a range of canyon experiences to suit every group with a simple aim – to offer the best canyon trips that are safe, fun and adventurous. We use only the best canyon guides. Canyon Wales offer a 5* service to everyone on every trip we run. With three different trip levels, choose what would best suit you, level 1 for under 10's and for friendly family fun, level 2 for adults wanting an exciting day out, and level 3 for those that want that bit more jam in their donuts!

Had a fabulous, well organised day canyoning with friends. Both instructors where professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The Gorge chosen was excellent and all group members where challenged but not pressured to do anything out of their comfort zones. Would highly recommend for a fun adrenalin fueled day out with friends, colleagues or family.
Will be booking for the harder level 3+ asap.

Having already been Coasteering with The Anglesey Outdoors team before we were only too happy to give Gorge walking/climbing a go, using their sister company Canyon Wales. We were a large party consisting of adults and teens across 2 families, with varying degrees of fitness. This is a challenging activity but all of us thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We waded through rivers and streams, climbed waterfalls and abseiled rock faces. Richard and his team (James and Eli) made us feel safe and encouraged us all to have a go at each obstacle in our path, with easier paths for those who wanted. The team were very experienced and we loved their approach, with just the right amount of fun and laughter along the way. Richards jokes however need a bit of work!! If you like to challenge yourself, get wet, and are happy giving anything a shot, with lots of fun along the way, then this is definitely a great physical activity to have a go at!! Thank you so much.

A group of 12 of us were planning on going coasteering but, due to unforeseen weather, we had to do canyoning instead. I went into it very wary because of a knee injury and, although it was probably a bit too much for me, the instructors were very helpful and told me alternative routes if anything was too difficult for me. As time went on I got more comfortable and confident. We all thoroughly enjoyed our experience and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting an adventure filled with climbing, abseiling and scrambling, with excellent waterfalls to see along the way.

Our booked Coasteering trip was cancelled last minute due to heavy seas and we were offered a Gorge walking session as an alternative. Our group was two families making up 12 people from 14 years to quite mature! The whole team who led us were professional, funny and made us feel very welcome and safe. The Gorge was a very scenic location and working our way from bottom to top definitely made us all push just a little outside of our comfort zones, but we never felt out of control. The team were very reassuring and calmly talked us through each challenge and the best way to tackle it. Upon reaching the summit, we were all very tired but elated that we had completed a great challenge. Definitely worth the money and we will return in the future.

Never done this before so very nervous at the level 3+. Myself and my three boys had an incredible time doing this. Richard was knowledgeable and safety conscious but it didn't stop him also making it very exciting. Highly recommend this to anyone with teenagers.

We booked an afternoons gorge walking in Snowdonia. Having a 14yr old and 11yr old we opted for level 2 which was a perfect level as it was challenging but nothing too scary. Our guide was brilliant, he encouraged us to push out of our comfort zones but was understanding if there was any challenge you didn't feel comfortable doing. He got my 11yr old up front and leading the way from the start which really engaged her with the whole experience. The location was stunning, we had a sunny day which helped with the views in the gorge, we only saw one other group very briefly so we had the gorge to ourselves, it is a special place to be. we were not rushed at any point and were given lots of extra challenges along the way. We all loved it and can't wait to do something similar again. Highly recommended.

We did the gorging experience and our guide was Ben. Have to say this was an amazing experience. The walks and views were great and despite spending a lot of the time in water the wet suits were of such good quality that you never felt cold. Ben was a great guide and knew the area really well and was incredibly knowledgeable. We were a group of 7 with kids ranging from 10-13 and all of us loved it. Highly recommended. Thanks again.
