Lovely scenery very dramatic backdrop to the grave. Right at the side of a very fast running river. Lovely story to read on the grave although bit difficult to read with ease. Lovely village lots of craft shops cafes etc.

the walk to the grave is luvlee along the river however Beddgelert is the most dog unfriendly place we have visited so far

It's a nice walk to the supposed site of the grave but the story was made up by a local hotel owner to try and get more tourists to his hotel. Despite this folk still leave flowers on 'the Grave' it's a pleasant flat walk...More

We enjoyed a short walk through the gorgeous village and along side a lovely river, past the church and then came upon Gelerts Grave. Read the story of Gelert, it is sad.
