We stopped in the welcoming local church but did not attend a mass. It was modestly decorated. It has an antique fair on Thursdays that we walked through for 50 pence. There were many things to see.

Betws-Y-Coed isn't so much a destination in and of itself, but rather an attractive, central location in Snowdonia that has hotels, shops, and restaurants. There are actually two St. Mary's churches in attractive Betws-Y-Coed. This is the "newer" one, being only a little over 100...More

Lovely well maintained church. Some lovely stained glass windows toi. Very peaceful and parking there too. Would visit again hopefully next time for one of their concerts!

This friendly small church greets you most probably on your own language :) At least I counted "welcome" on other 38 languages...

We were so glad to find this 19th century Norman church in town. The interior is quite beautiful with a high ceiling, wide nave, arches and lovely stained glass windows. It was nice to sit in peace and quiet for prayers and reflection.

St. Mary's looks like it is from the Middle Ages, but it is actually quite young as British churches go. It has a nice interior and stained-glass. I wish we had been hear during a choir performance.

There is no doubt that with its fine stone and slate construction set against the attractive wooded hills behind, this is a striking looking church. Although the design is Transitional Norman, the building actually dates from 1870 so it is very much a new kid...More

We enjoyed a very pleasant evening here listening to a concert by a Welsh male voice choir. The church itself is beautiful and this made a lovely change for someone who's musical taste runs more to blues and rock. Thank you.

We went to see the Sunday male voice choir concert in this church. After lots of rain we wanted an activity in the warm and dry. At only £6 each for a ticket and two hours of singing I really enjoyed this night out. The...More
