Glyn planned the day perfectly and adapted to all the requests of the demanding(!) 9 and 7 year old girls who are keen indoor climbers and wanted to do some outdoor climbing with harnesses and ropes. He arranged the meet point, provided all the kit, bonded well with the girls (answering every question) and extended the session to complete a more challenging climb and abseil for the girls. A wonderful day that will long live in the memory.

I booked Glyn at Climb Wales on a whim and a little last minute, I had called da few places and no one got back to me. Glyn was super responsive, clear and could tailor for exactly what I wanted. 3 full days of climbing experience in Snowdonia. Glyn's dpeth of knowldge created an incredible, cost effective and thrilling experience, that would be hard to beat! Gorging, wild swimming, abseiling, climbing, potholing, cave exploring and some serous hiking. I got to see places I don't think I would have if it wasn't for Glyn. Highly recommended and am seeing him again for a weeks climbing in October and hopefully the Welsh 3000!!!

I wanted to get more confident leading trad, to push my grade to HVS. Glyn was brilliant - had me leading E1 on my first day! Very patient, and really helped me improve my skills and technique.

I just had the best experience over the weekend with Climb Wales than I have had in a long time. Glyn is a consummate mountain guide. A local with intimate knowledge of the history, geology, Mythology, and biology of the place you are climbing in!
I really enjoyed the sense of place he shared. That makes all the difference for me when when visiting a new mountain range. Quick to asses skills, motivate and challenge- all the while meeting you where You are at. Ultimately leading to a very memorable adventure every step of the way. (Traveling to/from the Crags in his Vintage Land Rover is icing on the cake!)
He makes you feel like you belong there.

Was recommended through word of mouth about Climb wales and their courses what I experienced surpassed my expectations. Glyn made the three day trad course Informative, fun and engaging. Only wish I’d had time to stay longer.

Just finished an all day experience and honestly cannot recommend enough.
I felt so safe throughout but my boundaries were definitely pushed!
I've done my fair share of guided experiences but never anything like this!!

Best day out I've had in Wales ever. I've been coming to the country since I was 3. I've been up most mountains here and seen both north and south but by far this is the best adventure I've had. Glenn was amazing, he proper put you at ease and his knowledge and experience makes you feel welcome and safe. Would definitely recommend to everyone I know. I will be booking in again.

Did a 3 day climbing course with Glyn and it was definitely worth it. I hadn't done any lead climbing before I started, but he explained everything I needed to know to get started. By the end of the course I was able to lead climb/belay and got some experience trad climbing outdoors as well. Even though the weather was a bit temperamental, I had a great time and learnt a lot!

Glyn at Climb Wales has an Incredible coaching/teaching style. We gleaned so much from him in just two days. I enjoyed every minute of it and can’t wait to get back on the rock soon!

I had an awesome weekend with Glyn learning multi pitch trad climbing. Glyn is a very clear and thorough instructor, super nice to hang out with and I couldn’t have wanted more from the experience.
