Amazing. Cannot believe it's free. Very informative. Staff great especially slate splitting demonstrator blacksmith and ladies in shop. It made up for our disappointment of not going up Snowdon cos of rain.

this is a fantastic place to visit...tho the trip up over the pass to get there In a coach can be a bit scary if you sit on the overlooking side of the coach..its a long drop down!!..but the museum is great...the short film show...More

We planned to visit for an hour before lunch and ended up staying for 3 hours. What an amazing collection of artefacts and information. We will absolutely be back.

Yes I think children of that age group would find the museum interesting, as far bad weather there are plenty of exhibits inside buildings to keep you and them interested.

The slate museum is but the terraced houses won't be accessible. From what I could tell the car park was pay and display so I imagine coaches need to pay. Check with the local council website. Even if you don't get into the... More
