A tranquil ride on a narrow board through the sky. Excellent value for money. Good knowledgeable commentary. Only down side was lack of signage so easily missed

We picked this canal holiday specifically to go over this aqueduct and it was totally worth it. In fact you get to go over it twice as it is one way. Whilst this was the highlight as we started at Chirk after Llangollen we went back the other way through the chirk tunnel and the other aqueduct. All in all... More

We called on route to the coast and enjoyed the walk across the aquaduct and back via the road across the river. Excellent village hall for coffee and cakes (closes at 4pm)

Worth a stop if you're on the road, very impressive feat of engineering but not all parts of the site as accessible for anyone with mobility challenges as they could be

We stopped off on our way back from a holiday in Snowdonia to visit this Aqueduct and we are so glad we did. We were given free parking and a map to explore the area - we ended up doing a long circular walk which was really enjoyable. The Aqueduct was amazing - apparently the tallest navigable Aqueduct in the... More

If you are lot frightened of heights this is a must see. Spectacular views over the valley as you walk across the viaduct. Smells from the local Cadbury chocolate factory can be spelt if the wind is in the right direction. A lovely walk along the canal brings you to nice pub and garden centre in one direction and Llangollen... More

This is one of the wonders of wales and one of the few places in the world that you can see the three ages of transport a canal bridge for horse drawn, a road bridge and a railway bridge in the one location.

Stunning aqueduct in a beautiful setting with far reaching views. Not for the faint hearted crossing from one side to the other across a fairly narrow walkway but well worth it. Trevor Basin has lots going on with lots of canal boats , a pub, shop and easy parking close by. Highly recommended.
