The usk is a good fishing place but the roads have got loads of deep pot holes watch out with car ok

If your in to walking miles ok, could be for you, other wise we came looked and moved on, not much to see or do, nice to take a few photos, but the drive from off the top was far more worth while.

Nice place for a lower level walk if you don’t want to go up to the top of the Beacons Nice views of the reservoir and adjacent lands

This was our turning point destination for a round trip from Brecon on our bicycles. Great scenery. Path on east side gets quite narrow and muddy - only suitable for walking or mountain bikes.

There is parking by the dam LD3 7YS, there are several different routes around the reservoir, we headed east from the car & followed the Taff Trail all the way past the reservoir round to the Forest Waterfall car park this is around 4 miles...More
