Walks with animals and other great days out as seen on ITV's This Morning & BBC Countryfile. Experience days and adventures within small groups in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Activities include: Piggy Walks with a Pig-Nic, Walk a Mini Donkey, Dinky Donkey Games and a Sheepdog morning. All activities focus on high interaction and are within small groups with engaging knowledgeable trainers. Individuals can book for dates on our website, but private tours are possible for group sizes ranging from very small to larger groups by special arrangement, dependent on the seasonal nature of some of the experiences. Bespoke trips in the Brecon Beacons National Park can be arranged - personal recommendations for everything concerning your trip, just contact us to ask. With all bookings, a related good cause also benefits so you can have a good day out while doing good! All are outdoors and we take every precaution to keep you safe while having a good time.

Took my son with me. We had a fantastic time walking with the Kune Kune pigs. What a magical experience. To see the pigs so well treated. Stunning walks through the fields and to the water. Highlight was meeting the piglets and giving them a wash! Would defo recommend this experience and would love to do it again.

Such a fun day out!
All 4 of us loved it and would definitely come back!
Everyone was so friendly and the afternoon tea was a nice touch 😄
The pigs were very friendly and so were the piglets!

My daughter gave me a Good Day Out voucher for my birthday, which some months later led to my wife and I spending a blissfully happy couple of hours in an exquisite Brecon valley with four kunekune pigs and their piglets.
Kunekune is a Maori word meaning fat and round - but add friendly, bristley, slightly dotty, and generously gorgeous and you get the picture. They come up to your thighs, they bonk the buckets with their noses when they want a piece of carrot.
Walking with these wonderfully charismatic beasties was surreal and therapeutic. We were with three other couples walking along a river edge. Everyone's faces were wreathed in smiles. Our faces ached with smiling so much. The whole experience was deeply therapeutic. And dreamlike and joyous - on the drive home you think, 'Did that just happen? Or did I dream it?' Thank you to Gary and Helena who own them, love them and cherish them

Special birthday treat for my pig loving wife. Had a fantastic afternoon, all pigs very accomodating, friendly and cute. Lovely country walk with pigs feeding en route down to the river and back. Super cute piglets to feed and pet on return. Lovely tea & cakes after, very well organised by a friendly couple. Thoroughly recommend!

I booked the ‘dinky donkeys’ walk and ‘pig walk with pig-nic’ as part of a surprise getaway for my partner. Both activities did not disappoint!! Julia (with the donkeys) and then Helana and Gary (with the piggies) were very kind, chatty and informative during the sessions and made us both feel very comfortable, welcome and looked-after. The animals from both experiences were friendly and very open to human interaction (and fusses!) which is brilliant for animal loves like ourselves. You are given some snacks and drinks on the donkey walk, and the pig-nic provides you with more delicious biscuits, cake and tea than you can shake a stick at!! All in all we had the two best days out we’ve had in a long while, for a more than reasonable price! Would more than recommend, and well worth the travel (we travelled 4 hours and definitely still worth it)! Thankyou so much to you all ☺️

Me and my partner did both the Dinkey Donkey walk with Picnic & The Pig walk and Pignic
Both experiences where incredible and very insightful, the animals on both trips were very friendly and full of personality, Julia at the Donkey walk and Gary and Helena at the Pig walk where so welcoming and happy to assist and answer all of my questions about the animals, we where treated with wonderful local food and drinks for both of the picnics included.
An absolute must for Animal lovers and I would highly recommend to other people wanting to try these amazing experiences!

We did the piggy walk and it exceeded expectations! The couple hosting were very informative and it was clear that the pigs were very well looked after! Meeting the piglets afterwards was an absolute pleasure. 10/10 - would recommend to any animal lovers! The addition of tea/coffee and cakes after was a lovely touch. Not even the rain could put a dampener on the day.

Excellent pig walk hosted by Gary and Helena, pigs were so funny from trying to stop in front of you to giving you there trotters all for a treat of carrots and Apples, and their smiles well I think they were smiling lol, it was all set in the most beautiful surroundings what more could you ask for amazing

Booked this for my husbands birthday treat, which he thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend it to all. The information we received from Julia was very informative about donkeys and the character of both Maverick and Goose.

Is the pig-walking easy to reach by public transport or is a car essential?

Sorry, looks like my reply yesterday disappeared! The Piggy Walks aren't too near any public transport, but there is a fairly regular service to Libanus,about 5 miles south of Brecon, The walks are at Heol Senni, which is another 5 miles-ish SW of Libanus but you can pre-book a taxi to and from the smallholding.
