A pleasant surprise on our visit today. Very rainy so took a trip here as its mostly indoors. It was very quiet, and in the main house they have actors all dressed up and in character talking to you and telling you about 'their' roles...More
Great visit to a lovely old house. The actors brought the place to life with their explanations of the past in the civil war and the lives of those who lived and worked there.
Definitely recommend a visit to this historical experience!
This is an exemplar for bringing the Civil War to life. Informative throughout.

A must, if you like history
