Took our grandchildren to the castle, they were amazed, lots for them to see and do and a lovely walk around the most after. They really enjoyed their time here.

Stunning castle even in the Welsh rain! Wear sturdy shoes as uneven wet surfaces and steep narrow steps, good that you can access the towers and grand hall. Staff were welcoming and the first room provided the history of the castle by video. Unfortunately the...More

The Castle is fantastic. Lots of interactive opportunities. The shop is great, staff very helpful. It's a beautiful castle to visit and now they have dragons it's even better. Wonderful piece of history in a lovely little town .

Large grounds, extensive access. Wonderful castle to spend the entire day. Unfortunately they seem to be in the beginning stages of turning it into a theme park like what ruined Warwick Castle. See it before they cover the grounds with bad fish and chips stands...More

My first visit to the castle after living in South Wales for over 45 years and what a pleasant surprise. Plenty to explore and useful information. A building masterpiece considering how old it is. The dragons were brilliant.

Beautiful castle in the middle of Caerphilly town, best thing about the town. Truly magnificent castle to spend a couple of hours, especially on a sunny day. Customer service could be better though, girls issuing tickets were quite miserable.
