There's lots of great Welsh history to look at here. The restorations and reconstructions are very impressive. The site might have benefited from being slightly closer together to give it more of a village feel but the walks linking the buildings are quite pleasant. Could also do with a few more interactive exhibits for small children.

This museum is fantastic and it needs a full day. There are so many old houses and exhbits that the place is a bit overwhelming and has somthing for everybody. There are some cool little shops to buy coffee and traditional nibbles from and the bakery is amazing. For those who want to see traditional Welsh buildings and have a... More

I go to St. Fagans every few months because it is just a wonderful place to wander. It can get very busy in the height of Summer but weekdays are perfect for adults who don't want to be crowded in the beautiful scenery. The people there are very friendly and always willing to share information about the buildings they are... More

A wonderful day out, suits old and young. My grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed this day. Reminds us of yesteryear, and a lovely tea with homemade scones and jam in the little tea room.. looking forward to going again. A visit here is never exhausted

Went with my parents during the autumn. It was really beautiful, and a nice step away from the hustle and bustle of Cardiff city centre. Really interesting to learn about Welsh culture too. I especially liked the houses which move through different time periods. Would recommend to all ages.

Recommended at the last minute we ventured here not sure if we could let the dog come too so were so relieved when they said we could ALL enjoy the walk round. Such a good experience walking through history and being able to see just how lucky we are in our homes today! The progression homes is a brilliant demonstration... More

My girlfriend and I came here for a day out and thoroughly enjoyed it. She is Australian and it was good for her to see the museum there isn't anything like it in Aussie as far as we are aware. I remember coming here as a kid and it was an excellent experience then and remains to be one now.
