Interesting recreation of various buildings from times past, including a traditional terrace with each dwelling set up from a different time, and a prefab.

Have read some of the trip advisors for St Fagans, honestly £5 for parking is real value for money, we arrived around 1030ish and we had a relaxing 2-3 hours walking around the site, upto the castle (which was closed , but we knew about that as we looked on the web before going), we went are over the site... We had a very good family day out at the museum. I was surprised to find that other than paying for car parking, there was no entry fee - I have been to similar attractions elsewhere and had to spend a lot more to get in. We spent most of the day there but still didn't quite see everything. There... More

Great walks. Should be a five star attraction: 1. Main building/s under major renovation and currently closed. 2. Cold and wet icy rain did not help make our winter visit experience as good as it should have been. Great alive museum with buildings in the open which you can visit. Very helpful staff who can explain their work or unique... More

Took my 80 year old mother here as she loves anything of historic interest. We all loved it. The buildings transported here and reconstructed are amazing. We stayed all day and would certainly go back next time we are in the area - very highly recommended for all ages - you will not be disappointed.

We visited on a very cold November day, the main building is closed for building works & so was the castle. Despite the closures we had an enjoyable afternoon strolling round the buildings & it gives great insight into the history of Wales. As the main building was closed there were fewer options for lunch & I'm sure the gift... More
