Decided to treat my girlfriend on her birthday to a night at the "Luxury 5* Hotel & Spa". Externally, the building looked rather 'tired' and in need of a revamp, however, upon entering the amazing full height lobby, this was soon forgotten about! Unfortunately the room was to the rear but whilst there was a balcony, the view was not... More

Visited the Spa as a hen treat and paid £35 per head. I'm a regular spa girl, so I was a little disappointed to be given old scraggy robes on arrival, but we were looking forward to using the facilities. The pool is lovely, as is the Jacuzzi and hydro pool, but the sauna is tiny, and a little more... More

I've stayed at this Hotel many times, and have never had cause to criticise it, however, it does have a very varied room rate depending on what's on in the Cardiff area, so , this review is really based on a reasonable room rate on the times that I've stayed, including a good value for money upgrade, all the rooms... Booked in for treatments as a surprise for my other half. Although there was an initial problem with my booking the lady on the reception sorted this out for me in no time at all. Massage was amazing and just what was needed!

Booked to stay here through amazon local. £189 for a weekend one night stay for 2 which included a 2 course evening meal and breakfast. Looked at this hotel a few times and it's very expensive! As a treat though we booked this deal, not sure it is a deal though. It's located on the bay, walking distance to a... More

After an easy ride down from Gloucestershire we arrived at around 9.30; very much looking forward to what we hoped would be a fantastic day at at 5 star Spa. On being given robes and towels we made our way to the changing room. The feeling of a bubble with a slow leak was imminent. It was tired and in... More

I'd eagerly awaited this spa experience with high hopes! I was a little disappointed.. Treatment rooms are in desperate need of updating..and cleaning... Showers grimey..vents appear like they've never had a cleaning product near them! I opted for a Sin and Tonic spa day.. Which included a body wrap which was..nice.. Though I have had better in foreign countries.. I... More

I treated a friend to a day out and was very disappointed, treatments were ok but had better, underwhelming, tired surroundings with no space around the pool to sit, just a couple of beds that were taken with robes . We had a problem parking as it was such a small car park, when I commented to the reception staff... More

This was a birthday present. It was lovely. The food was excellent and tasty. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely table over looking Cardiff Bay. Scones were brought out later in the tea so that they were warm when we ate them. Well worth the money. Would definitely do this again.
