Yurt in the city is a unique holistic wellbeing centre in the heart of Cardiff. Our beautiful yurt provides a safe, healing space. It is a haven of tranquility and stillness, a place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of modern life and allow the mind and body to let go and revive. The yurt is home to a diverse group of experienced complementary therapists and teachers who are passionately committed to delivering a wide range of holistic treatments and wellbeing workshops.
At Yurt in the City you can find the right treatment and therapist to help you achieve your health goals. We offer a range of complementary therapies including, holistic massage, reiki, aromatherapy, deep tissue massage, reflexology, pre/post natal massage, energy work.

Marcos was truly excellent. My shoulders and neck got the treatment they badly needed in a lovely, relaxing space. The communication was clear and Marcos was a model of friendliness and competence. Highly recommended.

I’m a sucker for a massage and have had my fair share over the years but none have been half as good as Marcos. I won’t consider going anywhere else now because I genuinely feel so relaxed and pain free when I leave the Yurt. It’s such a beautiful setting and feels like a real mini retreat.

I've had monthly massages with Marcos for the past year and I can't even put into words how much he's helped my back. I had horrible back pain for over a year and my GP and physiotherapist didn't seem to care. One session with Marcos fixed it. The yurt is beautiful - as soon as you walk in you feel relaxed and safe. Marcos listens and adapts each massage to what you need. There are also loads of meditation, gong bath, and other healing events at the yurt. One of my favourite places in Cardiff.

Had a 30 min massage by Marcos - the yurt is so relaxing and the perfect place for a post work chill out. Massage was amazing, Marcos mixes the oils to your preference which I thought was nice idea, wish I'd book an hour! Will be back soon.

Visited the yurt in its new location at Meanwhile House, for a deep tissue massage. The yurt space transports you to another world, it is so peaceful and relaxing, and Marcos is an excellent therapist. I had a 90 minute treatment which included a full consultation and aromatherapy oils blended to my choice. Good communication when booking, payment by card taken, and parking outside was free, with a permit that Marcos gave me-it’s really close to station if I hadn’t driven though. Definitely recommended, can’t wait to go back.
