Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great tour and very knowledgeable guide! Was so strange recognising all these places from the show without visiting them before! Shame we didn’t go to the Cardiff Bay area.

I book this tour for my partner's birthday and it exceeded expectations. Our tour guide Richard was not only extremely knowledgeable but also very charismatic. He not only took us through the history of Doctor Who but also the history of Cardiff. I was presently suprised by how many different places around the world were portrayed in doctor who through this beautiful city. We had a wonderful time and if you're an avid Doctor who fan this is definitely a fantastic way to spend 3 hours couldnt recommend enough.

A brilliant tour by Terrance - we saw lots of locations from the show, including some we'd walked past earlier in the day without realising! We enjoyed Terrance's stories of his own experiences from living in Cardiff while filming was going on. There are a few locations we couldn't get into to see firsthand - e.g. service tunnels under the stadium - so Terrance had a photo book to show us the shots from the show that he was talking about which was a great visual aid. Definitely recommend for Whovians!

We had Terrence give us the ultimate Dr Who tour for our family. He was wonderful! It was really hot that day but he pressed on and went out of his way to make sure we saw everything. We had the grand tour of Cardiff all things Dr Who-related and otherwise! We went to LLanduff ( the home of
Amy and Rory's hometown of Leadworth) and St. Fagan's filled with historical buildings of Wales. This is where many Dr Who stories were filmed. We ended at Cardiff Bay and it was so fun we stayed there and ate dinner and enjoyed the ferris wheel and the scenery. We would recommend this tour company very much! Thank you Terrence! ( I know this is a very late review...!)

Great tour! Bring an umbrella and wear a coat in case of rain.
Tour finishes at the National Museum for Wales. Check out the gift shop for Doctor Who memorabilia.

The tour was well done, I loved it. The guide could talk a bit louder though - his voice doesn't really carry.
He is quite knowledgeable with Dr who Torchwood and Cardiff history.
All together it was a great, well done tour.

Fascinating tour with lots of information on the sites used in Dr Who filming around Cardiff City. Amazing choice of sonic screwdriver!

Our tour guide, Terrance, and his trainee, Richard, added so much to our personal tour of Dr. Who AND Torchwood locations. We had a wonderful day reliving so many special moments during the series.

Terrance is very kind, but the tour is in generic places most of the time. Something like "wall behind Rose in Episode X", or "the alley the cybermen came out of in Episode Y". Or even for places that have already been remodeled or don't even exist anymore. Also, I don't know how informed or up to date he is, because at the Museum of Liverpool there's a BBC 100th Anniversary exhibition going on at the moment, with an original TARDIS and a Daleck used in the Doctor 13 recordings and costumes on display and he didn't talk about it during the tour. But I strongly recommend that fans visit the church used to film Donna's wedding and look for anything atypical that was left on the side altar of the church (that alone makes the walking tour of the town worthwhile).
