Having worked for six years designing group tours to Europe, I am a bit judgmental of tour guides and the experiences they share. And after a three-hour journey through Cardiff's sites and its ties to the show, Doctor Who, I was absolutely thrilled with our guide, Dewe. Not only did he take us to everything we hoped for, but he... More

We have used the walking tours in London so did not hesitate to part with our money for a Doctor who tour in Cardiff. We choose the bus tour as we were keen to see some of the more out of the way locations. The guide was very knowledgable and I love the use of film / TV stills throughout... More

I went on this tour on 29/07/2016, our guide was not in a good day or in a good mood. He was on his phone all the time when we were on the bus and when we were out the bus he would walk so fast that some people couldn't keep up with the tour. Also I almost lost the... More

We did both the walking and bus tour. The walking tour gets you into parts of Cardiff Castle not available to the public. That alone makes the price worth it because that castle is pretty cool. You get to go down to the Roman foundations underneath the castle where they did the cloning in The Rebel Flesh and see where... More

We all enjoyed the tour, even the non Dr Who fan with us (Yes, they do exist!). Seeing the clip of the place on screen and then the real place and seeing how the magic is made was quite fascinating.

Amazing tour! Visited dozens of different filming locations. The guide is great, he told us stories about being an extra on Doctor Who. Before we arrived at each location, we were shown clips of Doctor Who on the bus of the exact location we were about to see. I went on this trip with my mom (who has never seen... More

This tour was a Christmas present from my partner. It was really interesting to be shown around many of the sites where Dr Who is filmed and interesting to hear about the way they changed real life places to fit in with filming.I would recommend to anyone who is a Dr Who fan. There is quite a lot of walking... More

I was very suprised to be disappointed by this tour, which I'd planned part of our trip around as a special treat for my son (age 6) and myself, as we're both massive Doctor Who fans. At four hours long it's about one full hour more than necessary. There are a lot of great locations and memories from the series... More

I really enjoyed this tour, particularly the Cardiff castle section. You need to be fit as there is a lot of walking between short bus hops but if you are a fan it's well worth it. The guide, Matt, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic as was Dean, the castle guide. It's predominantly a 'modern' Dr Who tour as you would expect... More

We did the walking tour which we enjoyed but it was very quick paced, too rushed really practicaly running between places! The guide, not sure of his name as he didn't bother with small talk, was informative but really didn't have the personality for a guide,he didn't want any chat in-between locations.not what you expect.
