Cardiffs` Civic Centre is probably and in my view the best in the Uk. The trio of The Law Courts, City Hall and Museum are very impressive buildings in their own right. Situated in Cathays Park which was given to the City by the Bute Family It makes a stunning setup which is not replicated anywhere in the UK. The... More

Cardiff's keel the civic centre for Cardiff is so impressive, the city hall is flanked on either side by the National Museum of Wales and the Crown Court. We got married at this impressive building. It is what you expect a City Hall to look like.

Built in 1905-06 this building forms the central feature of the civic centre. it is flanked by the Law Courts and the National Museum of Wales. All 3 buildings were built within a few years of each other and are all built of Portland stone which makes them architecturally attractive. Inside the City Hall are various works of art including... The City Hall forms part of the imposing Civic Centre of Cardiff. In the heart of the city and close to the famous castle, the centre has tree lined avenues with imposing buildings such as the Law Courts, Museum, City Hall and many of the university faculties - including the fairly recent outstanding College of Music and Drama building.

Great place to walk around both inside and out. Even better on a sunny day when you can sit on the lawns and maybe read a book or have a picnic

Visited City Hall this Sunday for a Hearts Wales charity concert featuring Lesley Garrett as main Singer. Brilliant concert. Wonderful venue. Some Christmas stalls there and a very smart Father Christmas walking around chatting to people. A lovely venue and a great Concert. Worth a visit.

Right in the city centre, the grounds of this building are pretty calm and the buildings here are very grand, comprising the city hall, museum and part of the university.

I attended an event here yesterday evening. What a beautiful setting! It is a lovely venue, oozing charm and character and has a grand feel about it in every room. The monuments/statues inside are interesting and attractive. I would visit again
