Beautiful Cathedral. Also an area of the Church dedicated to Service personnel from the Welsh Regiments. Quite moving to see how many have lost their lives in more recent conflicts. A huge spectacular organ was installed in 2010,. It's most unusual for a Church/Cathedral to...More

Tucked in the valley, Llandaff is beautifully set within a green space and has a fascinating history. The modern statue inside the Cathedral brings a great connection between old and new and everyone was extremely friendly, especially the bellringers!

I was luck the weather was really nice so I actually walked to Llandaff. The Cathedral was well worth the walk. I was also lucky to hear a violin concert when I was there.

It took me ages to find this. The map I'd been given at the Travelodge indicated that it was a 20 minute walk up Cathedral Road but it took more like 45 minutes from the castle, and once in Llandaff, is not well signposted. However...More

We walked here from the Castle via Bute Park, approximately 40 minutes. Small, beautifully decorated and with some interesting works of art, and half hidden by parkland, it was a real find. There is a tiny gift shop but no cafe.

I went to this place expecting something like Canterbury or Westminster Cathedral but the reality was that it looked like a normal Church. I started from the centre of the Cardiff and got to this place via back streets! When I got here I was...More
