Plenty of bars and restaurants so you should find something to suit your taste. But that's about it. Yes there are boat trips, the Dr Who experience and the Norwegian church but somehow it lacks something. Really disappointed

Love this place. I came here with my friend to see Ed Sheeran at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff City. We had a room at the Future in, round the corner from Mermaid Quay. We visited in the Summer when temperatures were mid to high...More

You'll enjoy an hour or two here just to get out of the real hustle and bustle of the city centre. There are some nice eateries and shops here and also plenty of parking. Also some cracking scenery and walls to take.

We arrived by ferry from the Penarth end of the barrage/bay. Wandered around, had a nice lunch and then caught the ferry back up the river to the city centre.

I arrived by water taxi and this affords a great view of the Quay. Once you alight the options for other bay cruises are right there and tempting (I did give in to temptation and recommend doing so!) You are surrounded by a huge range...More

By the beautiful Cardiff bay, Mermaid quay is the place to be whenever we visit Cardiff. Its beautiful, lively and gives a feel good factor the moment we step into the place. Planty of restaurants to choose from and lots of waterside activities to do.

Hi Terry The public toilets are located upstairs by the entrance to The Glee Club. The entrance to upstairs is opposite GBK on Bute Street. Hope this helps. Thanks

Sorry, didn't use the sofa bed but if it's anything to go by the main bed was very comfy.
