Professional butchers, great selection , friendly service. It’s a shame such good butchers are so few and far between when the quality is far superior to supermarket meat. Good covid safety measures too

A visit to my local butcher (Martin Player) always starts with a warm welcome from the staff. If you are a usual Customer, they all know your name. How they learned my name is still a mystery to me! Meat always looks appetising! If a French resident in Cardiff, you can buy bavette and sometimes merguez. Not only Martin and his staff offer the best of Welsh meat, they also explore what other countries around can offer. Martin usually likes to give it a Welsh twist!
