Get around Cardiff easily and at your own pace, without having to figure out public transport or blow money on taxis, by reserving yourself a seat on the city's double-decker hop-on, hop-off bus. There are 11 stops located throughout the city, from the Millennium Stadium to Cardiff Castle, and you can get on and off as you please: the ticket is valid for 24 hours from when you first board, giving you plenty of time to see all the highlights.

Wonderful clergy and a really clear and engaging Liturgy. The enormous stained glass window alone is worth a visit. Kyrie Eleison

I pass St Martin's Church at least once a day as I make my way to and from work. However, I have only been inside on a small number of occasions. I have sung in my school Carol concerts there, and continue to support such events. I have seen an American college sing there too, and tonight we came to see the Cardiff Bach Choir perform a selection of music from the Bach family. Due to the acoustics unfortunately the sound quality of the music and voice was not always heard or understood. This varies greatly depending on the style of music being performed - for some concerts here I have found this to be less of an issue. The church itself is very pleasant and relatively plain with plenty of large windows that let the natural light in. St Martin's Church is on Albany Road in the Roath suburb of Cardiff. Parking is pretty limited to on-street parking on the side streets. The church does lie on a regular bus route to head back into the city centre.

I am a very occasional visitor to Cardiff over a weekend and I find myself drawn to St Martins. An uninspiring exteria doesn't prepare you for such a light, airy space, scruplessly clean and shining with polish. This is a very happy and much loved for church, with such a welcoming and friendly congregation, over a hundred strong with so many students and young people. Plenty of well behaved children who were taken out to Sunday school quietly and quite happily. The liturgy here is certainly the most beautiful in the city, excellent SHORT sermons and efficient, seemless serving. OThe music here is certainly the finest in the city, music of quality is chosen, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical Romantic and modern, obviously appreciated by the congregation of all ages. It seems that they have several organists of professional class. The vicar is friendly and remembered me after my first visit. The sides men at the door welcome with a smile , hymn book and a weekly noice sheet and in invitation to the reception that followed. After the service, three other people invited me to the reception. What more could you want? I could do without that handshaking business though, my only negative comment. Thank you St Martin's.

I visited the church just before Christmas but found the Vicar to be very unfriendly, cold and ignorant. I shall certainly not be setting foot inside St Martin's again.
