Always been the best pub in Cardiff for quality of ale. Not so good now, under new management. Also, be very careful what you order off the food menu. We were told "that's not our menu", even though they were on the bar. Who's menu...More

The World needs more pubs like The Albany. A proper local - good beer, nice staff, a friendly welcome. Lots of corners, snugs and chatter. One plea though - sweeping up the dog-ends in the garden every once in a while wouldn't go amiss!

Good venue. Friendly clientele. Beer choice could be more modern on the Ale, mostly serves traditional Brains beers. Lunchtime food excellent value and good portions. All in all would recommend

This is a lush friendly local pub, right in the middle of a big housing area in Cardiff. The food is pretty good for pub food and it boasts a nice Beer Garden out the back. I'm yet to try the bowls but it always...More

The Albany is a lovely little 'local', hidden away in the warren of streets off Albany Road. The beers are always well kept, and if you're there Monday to Thursday, then most of them are £2 a pint. Bargain. Love the Wednesday evening acoustic nights....More

Not the same since that lovely guy left. Staff are too stuck-up. Quite ignorant to new faces. Does not hold up to the "warm welcome" advertised.
