We live at the other side of Cardiff , but have visited frequently over the years. This was the playground of my husbands youth. It was nice to see people out on the boats and children enjoying the playground. .

For me this park had a very Victorian feel to it with it's path around the lake, rowing boats etc. We walked most of the way around it taking in the rose garden and the conservatory along the way. A pleasant walk.

Been here many times for a Sunday stroll. Very good play area for children and small cafe on site serving light snacks not expensive. You can hire small boats if you fancy a trip up the lake.
