This is an interesting building with lots of wood and slate. Had to go through security to get in. The receptionist was really helpful and pointed us in the direction of the chamber. Upstairs is a cafe, small shop and exhibition space. Worth a visit.

Amazing and impressive building inside and out. Staff very friendly. NB there is a security check but they are pleasant. Staff quick to offer assistance and brief information on the building. Enjoyed a coffee in the café. Again staff very friendly.

We were fortunate enough to have an enthusiastic and eloquent guide that made me think perhaps the place had some value rather than a unnecessary talking shop. However at 6 times cheaper than the Scottish Parliament it is a triumph and a much better design.
