My wife took us to see a dj set by Martin Kemp, never been to this new music venue before but was pleasantly surprised. Easy to find not far from the city centre. bar open early for pre drinks which you could take into venue,...More
Been here a few times, staff are lovely, venue itself is worth keeping an eye on as they put on some amazing acts in an intimate environment - for example took my daughter to see Andy Black, who in another guise headlines an American stadium...More

Visited to see BlackBerry Smoke, the gig was great but unfortunately the venue staff saw fit to keep a large queue of people outside in the pouring rain for 10 mins after the advertised door opening time. The excuse given was that the caterers were...More
I saw the American southrrn rock band Blackberry Smoke at the Tramshed in Cardiff. This is the second time I have seen this band play live.

Amazing tribute singer & entertaining backing singers & band. Really entertaining & chatted with crowd. Venue was disappointing. Sober for October & no non - alcoholic beer behind a well stocked bar. Shocking! Not everyone needs to get drunk to have a great night. Sort...More

I understand that the street parking outside the Tramshed (on Pendyris street) is metered - £1.70 per hour, but free after 6pm Mon to Sat, and 5pm on Sun. However these spaces are limited.
Another option would be to try the residential parking across the other side of Tudor Road (i.e. Gloucester Road, Clare Gardens, Clare street etc.) as there are some visitors spaces for free, however these may be full or difficult to park in.
Then there are the many car parks within Cardiff City centre - most of which are NCP (so £18.50 for up to 5hrs, £22 if over). The closest that is open late would be Westgate street or Cardiff Rapports, which is open air (both 15 mins walk). I don't use these so can't vouch for which ones are safest I'm afraid!
Of course, the tramshed is less than 10 mins walk from Cardiff Central train station if public transport is an option!
