Well it will soon be a year ago that my husband and I had our wedding reception here at Carreg. This is the most amazing, beautiful place that is only topped by its brilliant owners. Originally we were booked in at the gower hotel, but they went into liquidation less than 3 months before the big day. A blessing in disguise as we found this place, Ceri and Eoghan did everything they could to help us in such short notice, they were amazing. Rob the chef even recreated our old menu so that we didn’t have to worry about trying to get everyone’s food choices again and the food was incredible. The house is amazing, the tipi is like a tardis and is beautiful inside with all the lights. We can’t recommend this place highly enough. Thanks so much again for literally saving the day! We want to do it all again 😀

I had my wedding at Stouthall and cannot thank Eoghan and Rob enough. From start to finish they couldn’t do enough for us. They helped with the planning, made sure we had the food we wanted (I’m very fussy so it’s a challenge) and made sure everything ran as smoothly as possible. Food was top notch, venue is wonderful in beautiful grounds. Thank you so much! I’m sure we’ll be returning soon for afternoon tea (also highly recommend).

My daughters can't wait to do another holiday camp. My eldest is old enough to stay over and the youngest goes along for the day. The staff are lovely, the activities fun and the house and grounds are beautiful. Thoroughly recommended.

My son has just come back from a 5 day stay at carreg with his year6 class mates and told me it was the best holiday he’s ever had! They went tree climbing, abseiling, hiking, they did archery and had marshmallows around the campfire plus lots more! For a 10 year old boy who has never spent more than one night away from home I was obviously a little worried about him staying so long but I shouldn’t have because he told me everything and everyone there made him feel at home! (Especially a man there Sam who all the kids loved!) They have activities right up until bed time! He loved it so much we are going back for afternoon tea and a tour of the house later this month!

I don,t call a Swim in the Sea an adventure ,when young children walk from Stouthall to Oxwich Bay through muddy fields ,forests cross roads for about a hour then made to swim in their clothes at the beach ,then walk back to Stouthall in soaking wet clothes to have cold showers on their return. My child and others had swimming costumes with them but nobody had the foresight to inform them to bring or change into first before going to the beach which resulted with him coming home a day early with a nasty chilled aching body and cold Thanks carreg
