These cranes at Harland and Wolff can be seen from miles around and are an essential part of the history of Belfast's history of the shipbuilding industry.

Cool cranes to look at from near and afar. Definitely a cool skyline attraction for some photo opportunities. Stayed in towers next to harbor and had a miserable two night stay renting through Halcyon apartments. Our room looked out directly over shipyard with nice views...More

The history attracts people to the cranes, but to make them stay is to add evening lights or a small museum of the plant..then they would be visible iconic

A stand out reminder on the horizon of Belfast's industrial history of shipbuilding. Seen from miles around an iconic skyline image.

The giant cranes are at the Harlan and Wolf Shipyard. They have become an iconic part of the Harbor Skyline. This is where the Titanic and many other historic ships were built.

Really iconic sight of Belfast skyline. Can be seen from many places and dominate the titanic quarter.

I even remember seeing these as a child in the distance from different areas of Belfast. They are still impressive today. They dominate the Belfast skyline.

Iconic in Belfast, the two gantry cranes provide a visual reminder of Belfasts Shipbuilding history and in particular H&W, the company behind Titanic. Perhaps more for history lovers, it is a must take picture for anyone visiting this part of Belfast.

The cranes can be seen from almost anywhere in Belfast they are so big. They can also be seen from the Stranraer ferry while still out at sea and before entering Belfast Lough. Climb up to Scrabo Tower in Newtownards and you can see them...More
