Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We did a C.S. Lewis tour with Lolly in Belfast. We saw some sights in her car. (She even picked us up at the Titanic Museum and dropped us off at our Airbnb!) We also did a walking tour of C.S. Lewis Square. Lolly is so knowledgeable and friendly. It was a fantastic experience that I will recommend to anyone!

"Best of Ireland 14 Days Tour" was terrific.
My husband and I are traveling a lot, but this tour is the first with a group and the first around Ireland. We are very glad that we decided to join this tour. We would not be able to learn so much about this country if traveled ourselves. We were also lucky to have an outstanding guide - or maybe all the guides you have are as good as our Lolly? She is very knowledgeable, deeply devoted to her profession, and polite. Two more important for me, as an American, characteristics are that Lolli is a great patriot of her country and can work almost continuously.
My husband is a mathematician and he is using the word "uniformly" often. So, he said that Lolly was uniformly good, i.e., good in all aspects. If we take a group tour again, we will compare a guide in that other country with Lolly. It will not be easy for that other guide to win this competition.
THANK YOU!

Lolly's encyclopedic knowledge, and ability to communicate it in such a logical yet personal, storytelling fashion, makes her unique among educators. I’m in awe of the people of Ireland now that I have a better understanding of their history and culture. And everyone we met from this beautiful country along the way couldn’t have been nicer.
During our tour, Lolly provided us with a running commentary on the surrounding countryside while sharing local music, jokes, popular pub songs, and her favorite things about whatever region we happened to be in. Afterwards, I felt like a part of that community. She is best-in-class as a professional tour guide, and a kind and compassionate person as well.

Lolly is an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable and personable. We learned about Ireland and it’s complicated past, and appreciate where Ireland is today. Highly recommend any tour Lolly is the guide!

This was an incredible 2 weeks with the group and our guide Lolly. It seemed as if we were traveling Ireland with a friend who wanted to show us all of her favorite things. Lolly not only shared the love of her country but also the rich culture, the food, drink, the history and the music of Ireland. There was never a dull moment. More than a tour guide, Lolly is a historian, story teller, keeper of culture. This tour was well planned but included free time to explore and experience on our own.

With Lolly as a guide you can't go wrong. We have had excellent tour guides in the past but she is a cut above! We were able to see Ireland through the eyes of someone who obviously loves the history and culture of their home country, and felt a wee bit Irish by the time we left. She was masterful at weaving stories and music into her lessons and was always energetic and upbeat. We absolutely loved the experiences of "Outdoors Ireland" that she helped us explore in ways we would not have on our own. Traveling with Lolly was just great craìc from start to finish and we left feeling like we have a new friend for life!

You cannot get a better tour guide than Lolly. Her knowledge of the history and politics that shaped Northern Ireland is second to none. She is charming, witty and as informed as one can be. Drop what youre doing and book a your wit her. You won't regret it

Lolly Spence was the tour guide on our 1500 km bus trip through Ireland with 26 others travelers. She was always prepared, had a great knowledge of Irish history, regaled us with Irish folklore, stories and music, always had a joke or two, and even directed our bus driver, Martin, to take us off the beaten path to see scenery where very few tours have gone. It was two weeks of incredible adventure and fun. She brought our group together so that we all felt like a large family. Simply, she was great!

I recently returned from a 14 day tour of Ireland with Lolly Spence and "EXCELLENT" doesn't come close to describing Lolly's guide skills. I've been on many tours throughout the world and Lolly, bar none, is the BEST I have EVER experienced! I truly think having her as our guide was a "once in a lifetime" experience. Her confidence, humor and her knowledge of Irish history and customs made listening to her a true joy. I was in "Lolly withdrawal" after returning to the USA and, fortunately, found her on YouTube, so the craic continues! :-)

Our 14-day tour of Ireland was great “craic” because of Lolly Spence, tour guide extraordinaire. Her knowledge of all things Irish - history, people, literature, culture, food, music, fashion, jokes - was educational, inspirational, and entertaining.
