Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Pleasant tour guide, informative. Rather overpriced for an hour of basically walking about 200metres total… there were lots of customers so they must’ve made a killing!! Good radio headsets so we could hear the guide even if we were at the back or even if we stopped to look at something and got a bit behind - really good system. As I love history of this sort of thing I really enjoyed it overall, but slightly resent the price.

Got this as a complimentary offer after the Museum has cancelled our visit due to refurbishment.
It was disabled friendly with the exception of the S.S Nomadic.
Thank you Katelyn for an excellent time and the care and consideration she showed towards me as I was on my mobility scooter.
Packed full of facts it was extremely interesting and informative.
The tour of S.S Nomadic was a very relaxed affair allowing you to go around at your own pace with staff on hand to answer questions.

Peter was our guide. He was clearly knowledgeable, but unfortunately, it was fairly obvious from the start that he was rushing to make it to his next tour, so we just about had the hour we were supposed to get, although several of the reviews say they got much more than that.
Was it worth the £13pp (£26 per couple)? No - certainly not. If you walked round and read the boards, all the information was there anyway. We didn't see the dry dock that's in several peoples pictures - no idea where that was.
Basically, if you walk round with your eyes open, and read all the boards, you'll do the same thing and save yourself £26 a couple. But if you want it easy, and want to make absolutely sure you don't miss anything, pay the £26

This was a real surprise. Colin is passionate and knowledgeable about the Titanic story, and as he says Belfast built a magnificent vessel and are proud of this.
His walking tour covers much about Harland Wolff, their story and evolution, through the buildings that are there and the infrastructure that is long gone. He brings it to life with stories of real people.
He also takes you to places that most visitors miss out in - the dry dock for example.
To complete any visit to Belfast’s Titanic precinct take Colin’s walking tour. You won’t be disappointed.

Our tour guide Colin was a wealth of information, and the many locations were profoundly impactful to visit and stand in. The tour was 1.5 hours but went for 2 hours, which was an added bonus because we could spend time taking photos and marinating in the locations without feeling rushed. Compared to other similar walking tours this was better value and had more substance. There is a reason Titanic Walking Tours are the original and the best. We had guided access to many historical locations related to Titanic and a detailed explanation and backstory for each one. Unfortunately due to renovations and works being carried out on the pump house and dry dock, we were unable to gain internal access to these, however I don't feel this diminished the tour in any way because we were still able to view them externally, and were so lucky with all the other internal locations being accessible. (With any private buildings there may be minor access restrictions to some areas occasionally.) Definitely worth the time, money and experience.

Fantastic tour by a really passionate guide which helped a lot. A must do, better than the main museum with lots of history and bits that are still there. Definitely a concerted Titanirac after this tour!

No-one turned up to give us this tour, we had paid in advance and stood waiting for quite some time. We were unable to get in touch with anyone to find out if it was going ahead, and no-one responded to the voicemail that we left. We eventually received an apology email at 22.55 that evening and later a refund. We walked to the dry dock ourselves to have a look, and it is now closed off, you cannot gain access to it anymore, so the advertising for this tour is inaccurate & misleading.

I'm not much of a walking tour guy -- but this tour, is hands down a MUST DO when in Belfast.
I really enjoyed this tour because it talked about the history of Belfast, how Belfast played such a huge role in the building of Titanic, and how Belfast honors Titanic now. I really found the latter to be the most interesting talking point -- as there are SO many "hidden" details that Titanic Belfast, the Titanic Hotel, and others in the area do to honor the Titanic and the story of those who were lost (and even those who survived).
The tour isn't long - but it is given by a knowledgable guide who is a local that takes pride in the Titanic story being a large part of Belfast's story. I was moved by the stories told and they stuck with me. I was excited to share these stories with my friends.
If you ever find yourself in Belfast, there is a lot of great stuff to do - - but this is a must. Put the Titanic Walking Tour at the top of your list!

We took our son to Belfast as a surprise trip for his 18th birthday as he’s always had an interest in the Titanic story We visited the Titanic centre and learned a great deal but the walking tour was amazing. Our tour guide Rob was so knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour, it was packed with the most amazing facts and was deeply moving. This is a must do tour!

I spoke to Collin via his facebook page to start with when I was booking the secret weekend away for my husbands 30th, I made him aware that my husband was passionate about the Titanic and the history and he helped sort out a private tour for the Sunday morning before we flew home.
The tour took around 1-2 hours, Collin started with a tour of the Titanic Hotel both inside and out giving detailed history of the building and the rooms we walked in. He even brought along a huge book with old photos to show what the area looked like in 1912.
We walked the slipway where both the Olympic and the Titanic were built and he went into detail about the history of the build, the men that worked on the build and even the detail of old concrete to new! All followed with photos of how the area looked at the time of the ship building which was amazing to see as we stood there in the flesh.
Finally we ended up at the dry docks and pump house, this is where you really get a feel for at least some of the shape and size of the Titanic. Once again Collin was full of knowledge with the history of this place and had his photos to compare life back in 1912 to what it looks like nowadays.
I don't want to go fully into detail on what was said because you have to experience that for yourself, you have to be there walking those grounds in person and listen to the history of the birth of the Titanic to really understand the beauty of the place and the ship itself before its tragic end.
Collin knew my husband was passionate about the Titanic and the history and really made us both feel welcome and gave us his precious time which we will forever be grateful for. He had such a bubbly personality and was so easy to get along with and have a laugh with, there were many times where he had us giggling and smiling.
We will defiantly visit again and we will 100% be seeing Collin again when we visit and next time we hope to be able to sit and have a whisky with him when the dry docks open once again!

Hi, sorry not exactly sure. Suggest you check their website. I recommend to allow a couple of hours for the actual museum part plus any other additional activities. Example, we went onto the ferry ship currently in dry dock that was the exact same ship used to transport the final passengers from Cohb in Ireland onto the Titanic before it embarked on its journey. Allow another 1-2 hours. Plus there is the outside original ship building docks to walk over. A good 3-4 hours or more depending how much you get righ into the experience. enjoy!
