Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Enjoyable afternoon. Takes 1-2 hours.

We thought this was a guided tour but it's not. People walk around at their own pace.

We thought there was an actual ship involved but there isn't. It is an indoor museum.

Great experience to add on to your visit to Titanic Belfast visit. I recommend seeing the dry dock etc. before you go in to Titanic Belfast so you have a much clearer idea of the scale of the ship Titanic.

This holiday was a late Christmas present from my grandparents. I'm obsessed with titanic and our tour guide , amazing Claire, did the impossible, teach me something new about the vessel. It was definitely worth the money and was one of the highlights of my holiday. It has only been two days since I have left and I want to go back already!!! Claire was amazing and I think she needs a pay rise :) ! She answered all of my questions and was very helpful throughout the tour. Thanks.

For those interested in the Titanic history I recommend this tour. I revisited it in June this year as well as in 2011 . Brought back memories of the Drawing Offices, one of two offices where the ship along with two of her sister ships were designed. I worked as a draftsman on the drawing boards there from 1941 to 1949 . The tour is informative and interesting.. Andrew E Allan, Austin ,Texas

If you have to choose between this and the new Titanic Experience at Titanic Belfast, choose this!

Most of the things I wanted to see while on holiday in Belfast are on this tour and some with very intimate encounters. Entering Harland & Wolff's former drawing offices is like walking back in time and is a true treasure, but for me Thomas Andrews office was the real treat. The Thompson graving dock will give you a feel for the immense size of the ship, but being able to walk down inside it is the greatest pleasure of all. Highlights also include the slipways where her hull was constructed, a view of (but no admission to) the tender ship Nomadic that ferried passengers to Titanic in Cherbourg, a thirty-foot replica of Titanic's bow that was constructed for the Channel 4/National Geographic series "We Built the Titanic", and the pump house that serves the graving dock, a portion of which has been converted into a gift shop and full-service cafeteria.

All of the staff, from the tour to the cafe, were very accomodating. Ashley was our tour guide and was a delight both with her prepared material and at answering questions. Also, starting that day the tour changed its meeting location from the Premier Inn to the front of the Titanic Belfast visitor attraction, but because I wasn't aware of this change, the touring company was kind enough to send a van just in case and transported us to where we needed to be to depart with the tour.

Clearly, I highly recommend this tour and would even gladly do it again should I ever return to Belfast.

Excellent walking tour... a must do if one is in Belfast. We got a personalised tour by our guide Richard as we happened to be the only ones on that particular tour that evening (the tour runs two time everyday at 11am and 2pm). It was conducted at an easy pace and lots of stories and pictures were shared during the experience. There was opportunity to click lots of pictures at the sites were the titanic was designed, built and docked. The tour ended with a short AV clip that brings everything together, which we thought was the perfect ending to such an information and interesting tour.

Excellent tour led by two great guides Colin and Aishling . It combines Colin's extensive knowledge of all things Titanic and great locally produced food. Lasted over 4 hours but walking wasn't strenuous, at one stage we went on the Wee Tram , and we visited a number of sites. Tour includes food, walking, visits to HMS Caroline , Titanic Hotel , the dry dock which was Titanic's last location before setting off on her tragic voyage . For those interested in an authentic Titanic tour, sampling quality local produce , great guides who know their stuff and a bit of craic I'd highly recommend the tour .

My son and I were on the Discovery Tour today. Our guide's name was Rob and he kept everyone interested in the many facts he told us about Titanic. Even though we live in Belfast and know the story of Titanic pretty well, it was great to learn new interesting facts that we didn't even know before. Rob was very enthusiastic and had a great rapport with those on the tour especially the children and young people there. This tour is well worth a visit and you get to learn so much more about the famous ship built here in Belfast. Thank you Rob for such an enjoyable tour. Before the Discovery Tour we also visited the SS Nomadic which is also very much worth visiting. Our day ended with touring the Titanic Belfast Experience and this was still as enjoyable second time round.. We would recommend the White Star Line Premium Pass which included all 3 tours at a very reasonable price. ( also included a souvenir photo)

I would thoroughly recommend taking in the Titanic Walking Tour which leaves at 11am, 1pm and 3pm from outside the new museum (just by the big Titanic sign).

Our guide Helen was delightful, very friendly and knowledgeable, she came across as really enjoying her job. Only 3 of us were on this tour which in some ways was a shame as the tour deserves more but at the same time made it a personal experience.

The tour is a fascinating insight into the decisions that made the Titanic the greatest ship to have ever been built at the time and also ultimately cost so many lives when she sank. From the Drawing Offices (sadly only visible though grimy windows) where the ship (along with her sisters Olympic and Britannic) was designed, through to the Thompson Dry Dock (built especially for the task of fitting Titanic out) it was an education. We all know the story of the tragedy but to learn about how she was built together with an insight into the lives of the shipbuilders of Belfast added a really different perspective. You really appreciate just what an amazing feat of engineering this was and when in the Dry Dock get an insight into how big a ship she was.

If you're looking for a totally new Titanic experience then you really should find the time to take this tour when visiting the Quarter.

My Father and I came to belfast for a purly Titanic trip and thios was certainly the highlight. To be shown around by someone who has such a passion and knowledge was fantastic.

This is well worth the small cost and recommend good walking shoes.

Pin your eas back and go back to the roots of Titanic (who had she not sunk would not be famous)!
