Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The minute we met Tom, our driver, we knew we were in for an enjoyable tour. Tom was great craic, very knowledgeable, interesting and a great conversationalist. We wanted to visit a particular place & he happily took us there even though it wasn't part of the tour. Tom took photos for us, helped my Mum in & out of the taxi, answered all our questions & was the ultimate gentleman. Such an interesting, unbiased history tour of a beautiful city.
Booking was very simple. We were picked up at our accommodation & dropped off in the city as requested.
Would highly recommend this tour!

Gerry (2) was a great tour guide, he was informative and factual, but showed a fair and objective opinion about life during the troubles. He was very enjoyable to spend a couple of hours with and had a wealth of knowledge about Belfast and it’s history. He made sure we understood everything g he mentioned and encouraged us to ask questions throughout to make sure his wealth of knowledge was absorbed. Would definitely recommend to anyone to join Gerry (2) on this trip.

We had an outstanding experience on the Black Taxi Tour with Joe as our guide. His expertise and passion for sharing historical insights truly elevated the tour. Joe's excellent narration and friendliness made the journey not only informative but also enjoyable. A big thanks to Joe for making this tour a memorable and enriching experience! Highly recommended

Gerry 2 was very friendly and informative. We learned a lot about a difficult time in history with a good local view of what happened from someone who was there.
Cab was clean and cozy on a rainy Belfast day. Price was very reasonable. Overall very happy with our tour!

The political tour was absolutely something that myself and our group still rave months later to our family and friends as the best experience of our sixteen day vacation. Our guide - Gerry2 was amazing and kept our interest peaked from our introduction to the very end of the tour. We eagerly absorbed Gerry's incredible and entertaining stories being told as we travelled through the various neighborhoods. His interactions with the other drivers reinforced what he had told us. We can truly say that the tour took our understanding of the Irish struggles to another level. But we also connected the conflict was not unique to Ireland as it also sharpened our understanding of our own Canadian and regional history.

Gerry 2 was one of the best tour guides we've ever had! We learned so much on our tour of Belfast due to his precise explanations, ability to fully answer our questions, and welcoming, friendly, and funny demeanor. We can't recommend both the tour and Gerry 2 enough! A definite must do when in Belfast. Thank you, Gerry 2!

Does hotel estival torrequebrada have tea making facilities in the room and is there shower gel in the bathroom

Hello! You have posted your question in the wrong place, this is an all day tour not a hotel. Please do a search for "Hotel Estival" and ask the question there. Thanks!

During the murals tour, are you in the cab the whole time? or do they stop to let you out and observe?

They stop the cab and let you get out to view it. If it's raining a lot they'll likely describe the mural and tell you the stories inside the car, then you can get out to look closer.

Would 20% be an appropriate tip?

That would be considered quite generous I think.

Looking to book this tour but wondering if children (a toddler) are able to join?
jessba

I would suggest you call or email Paddy’s and ask if they would allow that. The tour isn’t too “graphic” but it does talk a lot about death and weapons. It’s worth considering if the child would be able to respectfully listen to a serious topic for 90 minutes to 2 hours.

Hi, Can anyone tell me how they booked their tour with Paddy Campbell? I've emailed several times & filled out the online email form on their website to no avail. I'm guessing there's something I'm missing as obviously thousands of others have booked with them. I'd appreciate some advice. Thanks in advance.
